We love Mario. We mean, we're somewhat contractually obligated to, being huge nerds and all. Still, there's certain stages in the core Mario games that are simply excruciating to play -- we usually skip them during our nostalgic romps. That's why we can't help but admire the efforts of three men who are playing through every Super Mario title -- collecting every star, completing every level and Shining every Get! (Err -- getting every Shine.)
They're not doing this for fun, of course -- for the second year in a row, they're running through this "Mario Marathon," collecting donations for Child's Play. They've already been at it for two days -- but with the team yet to totally complete Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Sunshine, then Super Mario Galaxy again (as that totally secret character), there's a lot of ballgame left to be played.

I think most of us would appreciate it if you kept your responses in replies to the relevant posts. The commenting system isn't perfect, so you sometimes need to click "reply" then check to make sure it says "replying to [name here]" and repeat if necessary.
Your English is fine, it was just that first post that was really hard to understand, and mostly because you chose to type it in bastardized 1337.

Besides the grammar issues, his post didn't make much sense. Comparing COD to Super Mario is apples and oranges.
Then to say Super Marioland 2 is incredibly hard is just funny.
Also, intelligence isn't measured by the language you speak or how well you speak it.

Collecting every star in Mario 64 took many, many years of my childhood. Aaah the memories.
SMB3 is still my favorite though.

I dont like mario at all, but this is pretty cool.
I'd almost gladly do something like this with sonic games.. But i wouldnt play sonic 06, even if it would find a cure for aids.

This is definitely not every Mario game in my opinion, and not even every console platformer Mario game. Like some other people on here, I'd love to see them go through the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 a.k.a. the Lost Levels.
Not only that, I'd love to see them go through the Game Boy Super Mario Land games. The GB games aren't that hard, and they're pretty short. Not only that, if they were streaming it directly from a TV, the Gamecube does have the Game Boy Player, or the Super NES's Super Game Boy. The DS New Super Mario Bros., however, might be a little harder to stream off of without the dedicated video capture devices that those in the industry would have. Oh well. Seven Mario games is a lot of play time. Can't wait to see them try to pull off the 120 Shines in Mario Sunshine. Those blue coin stars were totally not worth it.

I was gonna donate but then I noticed that they skipped SMB: The Lost Levels.
So they get nothing from me
