We're going to be as frank as possible here: This episode was fraught with technical issues. For the most part, they will be undetectable to the listener, for they have been deftly edited out. One ... interesting issue, however, remains. Richard (that's me) comes out sounding like a cyborg. Other than that, it's just a typically awesome episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast. Enjoy.
Also, we're on the lookout for listener music submissions. To submit a song you'd like to hear, head over to music.mevio.com (or any service that offers music for podcasts), find some music you like, and send a link to fancast [att] joystiq [dawt] com. If we choose to use your song, we'll be sure to give a shout-out. Also, we're always open to original music submissions as well.

Looks like there's an upload issue, as the episode is cutting out early. Working on it now.

Okay, it should be fixed. If you've already downloaded the MP3 (or snagged it from iTunes), you may want to re-download.

Well, well, well, look who came crawling back: the 360 podcast. Now, I will say it again - I am the man of the house, and if you want to live under my roof, you will listen to ME. Any questions?

I am so sorry for the audio quality in this episode. It is beyond shitty!

Sounds like Richard fell down a well during the show and there's a section edited out where the others said "look Richard there's nothing we can do right now about getting you out, but we gotta get this show done..." and they gathered around the top to finish recording...

Richard - hold shift when pressing audio up or down buttons and it will not make the blip noise. very useful thing when you want to increase volume without the feedback thing (like when recording a podcast)

Oh, there was a whole other range of problems. I had my inputs and outputs being piped through all kinds of different places. Think that caused the problem.

Hahaha, it all sounded very interesting though, almost like you where playing around with effects on your voice, maybe you should do that for the next one.

technically you where probably doing voice effects the old school way, routing it through various things and putting it back through the input with the inherent delay etc. you could stick it through a reel to reel and make your own flange effect and then stick a giant lump of metal behind your mic to add some plate reverb... maybe I've gone too far.

Hey,
This is for Tony A Slagel II who wrote in to the podcast:
Good Co-op Games:
Sacred 2 (if you like Diablo style RPG's)
Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires (if you like hack-and-slash, and don't mind bad voice acting)

I suggest it should work on its issue more productively rather than involving itself in other issues............
