Shock treatment for gaming addicts halted in China

While we assume the practice was halted because of ... you know, the obvious, we'd like to believe that the treatment was stopped because it was just making the patients even more addicted to the Addams Family Electric Shock Machine game.

Indeed! I used to come out of the movie theater late at night after watching a long movie and put 50 cents in that game so I could wake back up again. I suppose it was removed for safety reasons, but I'd love to have one in my home for shocking the shit out of party guests.

I actually think it's a good idea to harvest organs from executed prisoners. I don't see what the problem is. If you're going to have the death penalty, you may as well use it logically.
As for Tibet and the Falun Gong, I'm not sure I sympathise with either groups that much, and I wonder how much others do too. The Tibetans/Falun Gong would probably be seen as a foolish cult if they had a strong presence in America, probably akin to Scientologists. They'd likely be seen as drains on our social welfare system, too, akin to blacks or Native Americans. But, I guess we can be proud that in America, we don't overtly oppress our freaks, we only mock them and keep them on the sidelines of society.
I seriously wonder if people in America and elsewhere really care about Tibetans or the Falun Gong, or if they only "care" about them because it is good political ammo against China's government. I remember when Americans were being taught to admire Afghanistan's culture and religious ways during the 1980s, due to the USSR's war against Afghanistan (and Bin Laden). Things have changed quite a bit though.
