We piled our accolades atop LittleBigPlanet back in January -- now, nearly six months later, the Develop Industry Excellence Awards are doing the same thing. LBP, and the minds at Media Molecule who created it, won all five awards they were nominated for: Best New Studio, Best Independent Developer, Best New IP and Achievements in Visual Arts and Technical Innovation.
Other big winners included Rockstar (both Leeds and North took home one award each) and Phil Harrison, who was bestowed the Development Legend Award, and finally given the Shinest Head in Europe Award. A full list of the winners is listed after the break.

Too bad they never win awards for sales, OH SNAP!
I kid, I like LBP, it deserved to sell a lot more than it did.

They do give stuff out for free. Maybe not lately, but they deserve/need to get some funds going for LBP2. I bough the MGS pack, best DLC add on as of yet! Also lots of people complain about the no level DLC. I ask though, " what other game lets you create a level and then share it with the world ? " 1 maybe 3, but enough of that "community levels aren't par with MM's", there's plenty of badass (home made?) ones out there. Trust me, some clever/creative people.

that's utter bulls**t...I'm sure they have more than enough money in the bank by now on sales of the game alone, not to mention the penny pinching from dlc.
and yes I've virtually bought everything on the store.
in my opinion they need to start taking a leaf out of criterion's book as a thank you to everyone.
the community has done more than enough to warrant more free things, and I'm not talking about some stupid costumes.

Plz stop making us pay for things like 'the metal gear solid pack' in order to play most user created levels.

amazing how no matter how many awards and rave reviews that game receives, no one's buying it. that was one of the biggest letdowns last year if you asked me. they definitely deserved higher sales numbers than that.
