The PSP Go may not be available yet, but that doesn't mean the PlayStation Store is devoid of PSP games. In fact, Sony has been ramping up the number of UMD legacy games on the Store every month, with 50 available on the Store as of July 2009.
Gamasutra looked at the top sellers on the PlayStation Store, with a specific focus on PSP games. They discovered that the highest selling UMD legacy game on the Store is Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee, the PSP-exclusive golf game that debuted at the system's launch. It's available currently for $15.99 -- more than the cost of buying the UMD at amazon.com.
The PlayStation Store also hosts a number of games that are available exclusively through the PlayStation Network. So far, the most successful PSP venture to date is beats, London Studios' rhythm game, which transforms music stored on Memory Stick into interactive experiences. It's one of the first PSN games ever developed for PSP, and also one of the cheapest. At $5, no wonder it tops the list. To check out more of the best-selling PSP games on PSN, visit Gamasutra.

hm... i think the PSP Go might be more appealing if the UMD Legacy titles were LESS expensive than the UMDs.
but i'm just a gamer - what do i know?

You know, I thought it would be stupid shovelware, but I was wrong. It surpassed my expectations, I just get annoyed at playing some annoying mini games and when I finally make enough money for them vending machines I get a stupid trinket.

Sony's new tagline for the PSPgo should be.....
"Less is More............money."

And I think that is the reason Sony is dragging their feet on coming out with a plan for getting existing UMD to digital. Pending on what the plan is people will buy up the cheaper games from Amazon, Gamestop, & where ever else the get them that way then give them to Sony for exchange. I mean really is Logan's Shadow still worth $25 when my local Meijer store was selling it for $13? That is going to be the problem with the digital content and Sony.
It would make more sense to have a price structure on the digital media like this:
New - $35
Greatest Hit - $15
Out for more than 1.5 to 2 years $7.50 that would make more sense.

Why would people buy the first one? Open Tee 2 is so much better.
