dumb as hell imo. how come people get so damn excited when a level editor is bundled with a game. most people wont use it and those who do use wont have the capacity to make interesting and fun levels.

Because it's great?

"most people wont use it"
So? What's your point? That doesn't mean shit.

"those who do use wont have the capacity to make interesting and fun levels."
O'rly? LBP has some awesome user-created levels. As this game will have too.

"dumb as hell"
Indeed you are.

yea theres this one user created level in LBP that is magnificent, it based under the water and the final fight is with a gigantic shark, i think it was made by someone in japan. point is, if theres dedicated creators we'll be playing some great tracks

I really like the fact that they're turning this "play, create, share" into some kind of anthem for playstation. Just because this game looks more simple than LBP doesn't mean it's cheap. I like the fact that it looks like anyone can do it - i.e. me.

I think Sony needs a customizable RTS or RPG than this a racer.

Trackmania does this too and it's free.

Give a man a level editor and 5 minutes, he'll give you a penis.

Ah, this looks great, fair play, LBP has shown how massive the whole scene of user created content is, and this is gonna be even more up my street as I LOVE racing games, and with the level editor looking a damn sight more user friendly and intuitive than LBP, I reckon i'll be hooked on creating new tracks for this one :)

Yes thats all that people will create just penis based maps using this..

Every good story has to have a "dick" comment, like every good modification environment has to have a dick.. I guess your comment is the dick comment in this thread..

Looks like fun. Finally, a decent-looking Mario-Kart sort of game for Sony folks, with a powerful and easy editor. Could be a little hokey, maybe, but I could have fun with it.

It is hard for me to believe that people are gonna be creative with making tracks, I assume people will get repetitive really fast with their creations.

Not convinced by this yet.
I remember some old rally games on PS where you could make your own tracks - the idea was a little boring to be honest, but there's potential.

Though i think I'd rather let other people create better levels than me and just have them on the disc in the first place
