The Kings of Leon pack needs 'Knocked Up', 'My Party', 'Day Old Blues', & 'So Long, Slow Night'.

I'm a big fan of the band.

(Probably get downvoted for this, but what the hell...)
I can't stand Kings of Leon. You couldn't give me those songs for free and expect me to play them. I absolutely hate that band - and it doesn't help that they're whining about American's having a poor taste in music and then fighting in the middle of a show while on tour amongst themselves.

Oasis vs Kings of Leon in the UFC octagon for title of the 'most full of themselves band on the planet' - I'd pay to see that.

I don't like how you listed the Wii tracks that the 360 and PS3 already has in the headline. It is quite misleading and leaves out most of the tracks that all platforms get.

I agree. They should have separated those lists and made a post for each platform.

Or, if you take off your fanboy for a minute, you'd realize that they listed one band from each section: Kings of Leon from the 360/PS3 list, No Doubt from the Wii list, and Grateful Dead from the PSP list.

Gosh Joystiq, you're so TOBIAS.

Videos posted every week, or at least links to the full songs online. I've started using it since Joystiq stopped posting videos. The chart videos and song ratings are nice as well.

You know what band I think is terrible that everyone seems to like nowadays? ____________.

Kings of Leon has lost some of its luster now that everyone (Present Company excluded, obviously...) is gushing over them, but they are still mighty swell. Love the band, and almost equally love that they are in Rock Band.

"Kings of Leon has lost some of its luster now that everyone is gushing over them"

My girlfriend says the same thing about a few other bands. I don't get it. If they sold out, fuck 'em. If they're still a good band, they're still a good band. If you hear them too much, cut off the radio.

Not trying to be condescending at all. I just think that's silly logic.

You don't like keeping some things to yourself? They haven't sold out yet by any means, but it's still disheartening to hear same people gushing over Lady GaGa, Black Eyed Peas, and Lincoln Park affix their gaze on this "Up and Coming" ten year-old quartet.

...not really. Most of my favorites are somewhat obscure, but I don't mind widespread recognition as long as the quality of music remains the same. I will say, though... I dunno if you listen to Mindless Self Indulgence, but they had a gigantic surge in popularity between "You'll Rebel to Anything" and "If," and the latter album is basically a shallow imitation of the former. Was it done to cater to the masses? I dunno, but it sure blew ass.

And so do the Black Eyed Peas.

as long as they stay the same, a bigger audience isn't a problem at all. yeah, the people who just jump on music bandwagons are stupid, but just point out their ignorance, and let them think out the rest.

I was just hearing that the guys from Oasis said that Kings of Leon sold out... Suuure coming from a band that once criticised Guitar Hero yet would gladly take the cashola to come out on a music game :P

Jealous washed out artist are the first to shout out "SELL OUTS". Fans that say they won't listen to (Insert Band) because they became popular or over played are just trendy scenesters who are all pissy because the general public has sullied their hip tunes with their conformist ears lol

People complain too much, Turn it up or Turn it off :D

I've been a fan of theirs since Aha Shake Heartbreak and it's alittle weird hearing them on the radio. Like not that I didn't expect it since they just kept getting bigger and grander with each album, but still. I'm not saying it's bad or anything. Hey, more power to them. They get to live the dream. Travel the world and play diesel arena shows. But whether or not they sold out is still a slight chance in my eyes. Because Of The Times was huge when it came out, just not mainstream huge. Now with Only By The Night, they really didn't have much else to go except to break through to the radio. I don't think that they sold out, there is a chance though. I think once they are done with the next album, then we can all tell.

As for the guy that said their first three albums were better than their new one. I have to disagree. I think their first cd was crap. The new one, I enjoyed alot. Aha and Times, I'll agree with those. Fantastic.

@darkinchworm

IMO, "If" was a much better album than 'You will rebel against anything". Its tighter, more balanced and more thought out. "You will rebel" was so scattered and seemed slapped together. But thats completely off topic.

Ugh, why would you put the Grateful Dead in the headline and then say "we hope you like the bands listed in the headline above, as they make up the majority of what will be available for download." Meanwhile there is one Grateful Dead song; a PSP track that's been out on the Xbox 360 for months.

Why not mention one of the six bands with more than one song being released?

Thanks for getting my hopes up 'stiq.
