Neither. When you're low on penis, you turn it on and it pumps more from the penis well.

That Braid picture is what it would look like if Epic made it. Except the guy would be bald.

Your beliefs are true, although this one was from 2 years ago. If you like this, wait till you see last year's "Assassin's Creek".

I'm so stupid. I said Braid was two years ago when it was this year's. Gawd, I feel like a bimbo.

I'm sure this new game will forever change the face of interactive entertainment, as opposed to being an overhyped, yawn-inducing platformer with a questionable art style and floaty, sluggish controls. (Yes, I know I'm going to be downvoted in a matter of seconds.)

I'm sorry, but Jonathan Blow is an ass and anything that comes out of his mouth is full of douchebaggery. Braid WAS good, but he is/was full of himself all over. I'll buy his new game if it's just as good, but every time I hear something he has to say, I just feel more put off. I just need to ignore it so I can enjoy the game. It's great that he's so open about his development process, but it'd be a lot better if he dialed down his complaints about how expensive everything is yet how he also needs to live comfortably, his exalts about his own creativity, and his criticism of the people who may play his games.

"Work with a small team on a puzzle-exploration game that is philosophical, and quiet, and is being made for reasons other than crass profit motive."

I mean, come on! If he really didn't care about making profits, he wouldn't have complained every single step of the way when Braid wasn't making as much as he wanted. If he was a starving artist, he'd be a starving artist. I'm not saying anyone should be, but people shouldn't market themselves that way if they're not going to live up to it.

No, you see, this guy's different. Other people do it for the money. But he does it from the bottom of his heart.

I think you're confusing Jonathon Blow with Clover creator Daniel Jones. Blow didn't initially expect Braid to make back its own budget.

@The Grand Hero: Even if he didn't expect Braid to cut a profit, he still complained that it wasn't paying the bills. If you didn't expect your product to make back its own budget, why complain when it doesn't?

I don't recall him ever complaining about it; he simply pointed out that such was the case.

No, I'm not getting Blow confused with the Clover guy. Here's Blow explaining that Braid had to cost so much so he wouldn't be bankrupt or in debt.

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3169222

But remember, Blow doesn't care about the money.

"Doing it for the money" and trying to make enough off your work that you don't have the bank foreclose on your house is hardly the same thing. I've yet to see him preaching the starving artist model.

I beat braid a few days ago (I know, I know -- late to the party) and I can't imagine why someone would think that it is overrated. As far as story telling goes no other game has really done it as well as Braid has. I thought the puzzle elements were innovative ways of using time even if a few puzzles were mind numbingly difficult.

And hell, I loved the art and the music behind it as well. I can understand if it isn't your kind of game but I find it hard to believe that it would be an overrated game, I think it deserves all the praise it has gotten.

Not sure I understand Ashitaka. You don't want stories in video games being more than just an excuse to blow shit up or move the game along? =/

It's not like it was just the story anyways, but I liked that braid actually used gameplay mechanics as an integral part of the story. (which isn't a linear story but something different).

I'm sure the new braid will spearhead the fad of 2000 pt arcade games much like braid laid brick for the 1200 price point.

Thanks a bunch Senor Blow.
