Bethesda likes you just as you are, Capital Wastelander. At the very least you don't need to keep working on that level grind in Fallout 3, as Bethesda's Jeff Gardiner confirmed to MTV Multiplayer that the game's level cap won't be raised beyond 30. (Back in May, the game's Broken Steel DLC increased the maximum possible level from 20 to 30.)
He did, however, note that he's "sure we'll [Bethesda] look into addressing these concerns in future games." Though the company is farming out development of next year's expansion Fallout: New Vegas to Obsidian, the Fallout IP is still very much in Bethesda's hands -- making us wonder if we'll see what Mr. Gardiner is talking about as soon as next year.

Since you're practically invincible at Level 30, there's really not much point anyway.

All they need to do is up the number of possible skill points to 125 instead of 100, then increase the level cap, then increase the difficulty of every enemy based on your level,so if you are level 35, a raider is tougher than if you were level 20.

That is if there is no more new dlc, if there will be more dlc after mothership zeta, the level cap should be increased, and all that other stuff done.

That is upsetting,i would love to keep getting fallout 3 dlc every 2 months, its always nice to go back to that game, but if they are working on fallout 4,then i am ok with it.

From what I have heard, they are supposedly cycling between Elder Scrolls games (Oblilvion was better than Fallout in my opinion.) and Fallout games. Apparently The Elder Scrolls V will be announced next year (We can only hope) and then a Fallout will be announced sometime after that (1 1/2 years - 2 years I would guess.)

Ah OK, i will have to get new Vegas to tide me over,i couldn't really get into oblivion,i bought the GOTY pack on a sale, and it wasn't really for me,but i am/was crazy about Fallout 3, and i haven't played the first 2,i guess its just the setting i prefer, but everyone has their different tastes,i am not going to say oblivion is bad.

That's too bad, would have been nice to have a higher level cap for the expansion, or even a removal of the level cap a la elder scrolls. Actually, here's hoping that the "next project" is an elder scrolls game with possible Natal controls. Or maybe even a fallout game with natal controls ... imo they need more fluidity in their games' combat systems.

I would like it if they used Natal for NPC interaction, but arm flailing to fight a Super Mutant would just be excessive. Unless that is they included a Brotherhood of Steel Helmet and Laser Rifle peripheral

Yeah for interaction with characters, natal could be cool, but not for combat, unless in vats you could move your hand to choose different parts, otherwise controller for me.

You think Project Natal is going to be some arm flailing hilarity, anyone remember the motion controller you stood in for the Sega Genesis that you could control Mortal Kombat with?

I've played my share of Final Fantasy games, so I guess I'm used to level-grinding, making this no big deal I guess...though I still need the game though :(

Probably just as well. I don't like how Bethesda "balanced" F3 after broken steel.
Those damn albino scorpions are bloody bullet sponges.

It's not that they're damn bullet sponges, rather that they're so damn deadly - the Puppies! perk is a godsend as Dogmeat's puppy just runs in (often dying in the process) and distracts them whilst I can whittle their health down before they turn on the other companion and waste him/her.

They are also so damn fast, before you get a chance to run, they are already up in your ass stinging you to shit, but that is why i use sneak Armour when traveling the wastelands, and ranger Armour for combat.

Okay, this has been bugging me for so long; what does IP mean in relation to game developers? And don't say Internet Protocol or Intellectual Property or I will sock you..

Really? That's much less thrilling than I had hoped. I was thinking more like Illuminati Pomeranian or Interspecial Pride...

IP = intellectual property
I'm not really sure what you are asking.
Bethesda is a publisher and developer btw.

was it me or did the point lookout reavers seem really toned down? The ones in the presidential metro survived two mini nukes, while these ones could barely survive a couple laser rifle shots

Ugh. New Vegas is what ruined Fallout 2, and now they're going to add it to Fallout 3. Good job, Bethesda.
