Dante's Inferno spawns DC comic

EA announced today that it's collaborating with DC Comics and Wildstorm to create a comic mini-series based on its upcoming demon slay-'em-up, Dante's Inferno. The comic is to be written by Christos Gage, who has worked on X-Men, Spider-Man and ... Teenage Caveman. It will be illustrated by Diego Latorre, known for his work on The Incredible Hulk. The series is to span six issues with the first going on sale this December.

A preview issue of the comic will be distributed at the San Diego Comic-Con this week at the EA and DC booths. Also to be revealed at the Comic-Con: the first trailer for the Dante's Inferno animated feature.

With both a comic series and an animated feature on the way, Dante's Inferno is becoming quite the franchise. Frankly, we can't wait for the novelization.
