i hope it is just a standard controller with MW2 paint and decals like those halo ones.

I never realized this until now, but I push the sticks around using the edges of the sticks. I think I hardly ever lay my thumbs across the tops or much less put the tips inside of the concave 360 sticks.

That being said, I don't really care about the sticks but fix the d-pad on the 360 version and L2 and R2 on the PS3.

when i saw that controller, i thought "now it's overkill", but if it really is a normal controller that's specialized for playing modern warfare 2, i'll buy it. modern warfare 2 will probably take all my time for a long while, so i might as well get a controller that's better suited for it.

hmm. when i saw the prestige edition of modern warfare 2, my immediate thought was "great, now all the little kids are gonna bring those nvg to the airsoft games now."

My guess is that it'll be a normal controller with a pic of tanks/airplanes/cpt. price slapped on it and they'll charge an extra $10 more for it.

Then again, some segments of gamers will cry foul and then say that the peripheral "will kill my K/D" or be unfair and only fit for noobs b/c "...it'll always show an RDS on the screen" blah blah blah.

I'm sorry but this shit is too much, I am already sick to death of Modern Warfare 2 and it's not out for another 4-5 months ffs.

A special controller for another shooter which will be more or less the same as the last two COD games? I didn't realise the 360 and PS3 controllers were so unsuitable to playing shooters, oh wait I get it this game is going to be the BEST GAME EVER so obviously it needs a new controller.

Don't even get me started on the £120 special edition, or the £55rrp, really I can't honestly believe how much people are hyping this game, it GTA4 all over again. The majority will hype themselves up into a frenzy and when they get the game and realize it is just a game and not the second coming all hell will break loose again and it will be slated and made out to be the worst game ever, whilst being a great game, just like GTA4.

I hope it's Sony they are working with. I really wish they would do a controller tailor made for shooters. The joysticks on the DS3 are just crap. Hell, they don't even have to repackage it with a PS3. Just sell them on their own, and I'll jump on it quick.

The stick tops should be reversible, convex or concave depending on your style. If we can customize an M4 we should be able to customize the pad. You could even go with a convex and concave on each stick.

If it did look anything like the picture. I wonder how many people would use for robbery's! That or if you you get pulled over with it in your car, I wonder how the cops will react.

I wish they would make a stick with more resistance on the analog sticks. That would allow for more accuracy.

I am confused. It only says that it is not being developed by infinity ward or activision. I never specifically says that it is not being developed. Secondly this thing has 2 analog sticks. It would only need one since one is eliminated (the one used to aim). Unless it has 2 for people that rather use it on different places.

Now my doubt is, why would they be making this if you can't aim with it? It takes away the whole idea and point of having a dam plastic gun instead of using the controller. So my question is, Are you going to need the eye toy (PS3 camera) or the XBOX 360 camera (I forgot the name)

Now whoever made this design is probably stupid or is smoking something. I mean the analog sticks are in very uncomfortable. I would put one at the back of the grip where the trigger is. The other one I would put it where it is (front analog stick) where it is but on the other side. Then I would put the triangle/y, O/B, X/A, square,X buttons on the side of the back grip where the trigger is.

Then another BIG problem I see with this is what about the people that are right or left handed. They would either have to make 2 different guns or less likely be able to move the buttons somehow.

I am very skeptical about this and I will only get it if I am able to try it out first.

Am I the only one that tried to imagine holding that fake thing in the picture, just to see if it would work(It wouldnt, at least with the broomstick handle. Without it, possibly)

OH! and to those saying the want concave sticks, play.com sell attatchments that just slot over the original sticks making them concave.dunno how good they work tho never tried, plus i like the sticks convex, but just a thought :)

a controller would be good buy depends how and when, honestly im not going to open it if i get 1. still rather use ps3 pad. peace
