Confirming our suspicions of a forthcoming game based on Cartoon Network show Metalocalypse, Konami is this week announcing its intentions to publish Metalocalypse: Dethgame for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The show's creator, Brendon Small, confirmed to the Wall Street Journal that he's been working with Konami to produce the upcoming downloadable title from developer Frozen Codebase.
Rather than playing as Metalocalypse's lead characters, Small says you'll be controlling a "band of roadies" fighting in honor of the show's fictional band, Dethklok. Konami will allegedly be announcing the game later this week at the San Diego Comic Con.

With Brutal Legend on its way, I kinda figured this was inevitable.
But a good kind of inevitable ^_^

A Venture Brothers game would also be quite nice.

SWEET! I love this cartoon. My only issue is how CN breaks up the seasons and drives the repeats into the ground.
However a Home movies game would rock too. That shown doesn't get enough justice. One of my favorite episodes is when Brendon and the coach are in court and they have a mini reflection on how TRON is a great movie lol.

I know! I been sayin' that since rhythm DLC became a thing! On Guitar Hero 2 (way back in the good, Harmonix developed days), I never turned the game off without playing "Thunderhorse". Well, that and "Push, Push, Lady Lightning" by Bang Camaro.
Brendon, release Rock Band tracks please. We promise we'll ALL buy them.

I hereby declare this an opportunity to go berserk with epic Metalocalypse quotes. Have at it.
"I woke up this morning with a clown's hand, in my pants. That's what i did today"
"I am going to govern the fuck out of this state! Now show me your guns!"
"We want a PR Person."
"I am a PR Person."
"No we want a *real* PR Person."
"I am a real PR Person."
"We want a woman."
