Insomniac not backing down from crowded pre-holiday release

I'm sorry but this game will get slaughtered in terms of sales. No need to downvote me, I mean lmfao I'm just saying in terms of sales this won't do too good because of all the big titles coming out. I have all 3 consoles and I can tell you that I'll be picking up MW2 and AC2 before I pick up this.

Capcom and GG had it right: why the hell is everyone in such a rush to drop their games RIGHT before xmas? I game YEAR ROUND, not just between late october and mid december. So sick of watching great games get lost in the hell of holiday sales.

I already know I'm buying it, even though this isn't the type of game I buy at full price. I just really like Insomniac and want to support a hard-working developer that puts their soul into their games.

Same reason I'm buying Brutal Legend - to support the people that make games fun instead of the ones that make me wonder why I don't get a new hobby (here's looking at you, Activision).

My console is pretty dusty. What with my last purchase being Tomb Raider and Little Big Planet, I'm aching for something to play D:

They should just release early, like September.

Assassin's Creed was such a bloody let down I would not go that far as to call the second one a two-ton gorilla, maybe a 4 and a half pound chimp.

this is going to be a fail for them. I'd rather them push it back to Jan. if anything. No way is it going to move until with Uncharted and Call of duty and everything else. I hate for this game not to do well because they didn't think this thru.

I'd have Crack In Time over Assassins Creed II anyday.

I hope it does well. Ratchet and clank future: tools of destruction (according to vgchartz) was the second worst selling ratchet and clank game. (albiet it sold well anyway) I know I'll try to buy a crack in time on day one.

Put of all the games you have mentioned R & C 2 is the only one I plan to purchase.

First of all never bet against Insomniac, Sucker Punch or Naughty Dog. Second I don't know why everyone keeps saying RAC doesn't matter to anyone. It matters to me. And Third I loved the first Resistance. I was a great game. The Chimera where one of the scariest enemies I have ever faced in a long time of shooters. But I don't know why they changed it in Resistance 2. I liked the spike and energy mines i had to dodge. I liked driving the mech, the jeep and the tank. I liked the variety of eneimies like the dog creature, the crawlers, the ones that climbed on walls, the giant spider ones and the jacks (I think) , Even the stalkers where harder to put down then in Resistance 2. I loved the variety of places you went to from fields to snow to mines to cities. Insominiac take my advice. Don't listen to the people who said that something was wrong with the first Resistance. It was perfect the way it was.
