I guess the question, for me, at least, is whether or not people will play it for 10 years, but how much it'll cost them to play for that long...I'm interested in seeing how they're pricing system ends up working out, whatever it is.

Sounds about right, they've been in development for about half that so far. By the time it comes out it will have had a 10 year life lol.

if it's as fun as counterstrike, and the people are as annoyingly hilarious on the mic, I'll play it for ten years. Been playing counterstrike since the first beta. So I guess I can't say it's out of the question.

Yeah, good luck there. World of Warcraft's only been around for what, 5? I have a hard time thinking they'll get much further than 10 years.

Fixed.

Seeing how many failed MMOs are piling up, 10 months might be a stretch. I hope not though, I have high hopes for APB.

I like the potential that this game has and I'm hungry to give it a spin.

This or Champions Online will be my MMO addiction.

This game still isn't out yet ?

They better get it out before it has a 10 year development cycle.

I suppose it'll have to last long to be viable. Only the other day Dave Jones was talking about how Crackdown barely turned a profit, and they confirmed at a conference I went to that they have another unannounced project in the works (I thought it was Crackdown 2 but obviously Ruffian got that).

I think if APB doesn't deliver and roll in the £££ and the unannounced game doesn't also rake in the loot then Realtime Worlds could potentially see themselves in trouble a few years down the line.
