No, that's not a screen from Joystiq Publishing's upcoming actioner, Vanessa and The Bear ("Half Accounts Receivable Temp, Half Sadomasochist, All Hero!") It's actually a pair of the new costumes you'll able to get if you pick up the upcoming Resident Evil 5 PC release.
We've just got one question: Who, exactly, did Chris piss off so bad that they're dressing him like the lovechild of Don Johnson and The Gimp?

There are so many reasons, it feels like they did it on purpose:
Chris's costume looks like a raider. The barren floor with makeshift architecture. A sickly greenish tint to the whole image. Blood in the air is like VATS. Sheva's costume is out of place and formal, like the pre-war clothing.

The bad thing is you need to purchase a 120hz 3D Compatible monitor as well as the Nvidia 3D glasses. There's a setup at my local Microcenter but it doesn't work, I want to see if its really cool or not.
Still nice of Capcom to give PC gamers this option, I love how the PC is such a flexible platform!

NVIDIA has a 3D Vision Discover system that lets you play in 3D with regular 3D glasses. Obviously the effect won't be as good, but it'll probably cost you next to nothing.

No mere cloth can contain the ultimate power that is Chris Redfield's biceps.

It's almost like they are suggesting all PC gamers are either gay or pedophiles.

How is a bear and a schoolgirl outfit not indicative of what I said?

Not a schoolgirl outfit. More like a business woman's suit.

That's very much a private school-girl type outfit.

It's also not even close to being a bear outfit. For one thing, Chris isn't nearly hairy enough, and bears don't really need outfits to be bears.

Bears tend to be hairy, that is why they are called Bears. Chris is not one.
Also, this thread is really stupid.

Sheva already has a bikini costume... unless you're waiting for a bikini for Chris, in which case, you're on your own...

Sheva is looking good, as usual... I figured the new costumes would be the ones Capcom asked for ideas on a few months back, most of which included ideas based on Capcom franchises. Never did I see "Slave Master" or "Office Girl" suggested. Wonder if we'll see these released as DLC on the consoles- alnog with whatever suggestions they actually used from that thread. I'd love to hear something on that front- I keep wanting to pop RE5 in again, but then I think I'd better wait for the new costumes... where are they, Capcom?
