I didn't like the first one for some odd reason. It just didn't feel right, hopefully the co-op in this brings the good out of this game.

Allow me to help you work it out lol

The Boss fights, the claustrophobic arena's you fight them in. The horrible acting, (despite being one of capcoms better attempts at human emotion) and cheesy one liners 'no more pitching tents for us'. The awful mech suits, slow, boring, energy using suits. Finally, the T-Eng and the complete pointlessness of it.

The rest I liked, but all the above spoiled it for me. Lost Planet 2 however, I'm keeping a close eye on. It looks much improved.

I loved the first one, thought it deserved more praise than it got. I hope the sequel does better.

+1! It got panned because everyone was too enamored with the Halo 3 Beta. I loved it and the cross platform play was great!

ecko- considering tens to hundreds of thousands of people still play halo 3 online TODAY, and probably less than 1000 people play LP1 per day on XBL should explain why all the fuss for the halo beta.

halo 3 MP was so much better tha LP1 MP, IMO and it showed.
8 million people didn't buy halo because it sucked.
in 2007 it had the best online play and connectivity.

just like crackdown being a good game, but most people only talked about the halo 3 beta.

Dammit, you told us we were getting a demo soon, not screenshots.

It's not fair. :(

I think it went to slow for me. Trudging around in the snow just wasn't fun for me. It would've been a great game if it was just a little faster, and hopefully this game will pick up the pace. It had a lot of potential, and this game should capitalize on the potential and take advantage of it.

I hate not having an edit button. 'It went TOO slow for me', not 'to'.

If we had an edit button though, people would make idiotic comments and then realize it and go correct it. Joystiq would stop being as funny as it is.

I loved the first one and can't wait for this...I think it's weird though how much video game stuff is shown at Comic-Con...I could understand games based off comics, but all the info we get from there just seems wrong to me.

The suites were the best part of the game, especially online (although they were over powered). they had a specific name for them, but i cant remember what they were called.
anyway, looking forward to this game, and the one suite looks like my favorite one, so thats good news i guess.

I hope this game turns out to be as awesome as the first! I loved the multilayer, and I can't find many matches on the colonies game anymore.... I can't wait to see how this game plays out.

Exactly its first edition was quite awesome but i don't think it will do the same in its second edition as it seems that they are not working with that enthusiasm and zeal.............
