Yeah, I'm impressed. And it's even a good demo as far as demos go. Five playable characters. Including Terra, which was nice. I wanted to play as someone from FF VI. :P

Yeah it's...I'm not sure yet. I need to try the harder setting, on normal I did the same move over and over and defeated everyone with no problems.

This demo blew me away. For anybody old enough to have played FFIV and/or VI when it was new should love this game. I even get to live out Cloud Vs Squall battles now .....or *gasp* Sephiroth Vs Golbez? in the Magitek Facility? While the BGM is playing the end boss Zeromus theme? umm ....yes please!

Guys, let me just tell you that if you are doubting this game...please give the FULL game a chance before writing it off.

I HAVE played the full game, and let me tell ya', it is packed with SO many surprises and goodies that it makes the demo look like an embarrassment to the full game.

If you know ANYTHING about Final Fantasy in general...you'll find something to like about this game.

Oh and one more thing about the difficulty...you can level up your character, and so your opponents Ai also gets tougher as well.

Another update without Fat Princess :(
I'm still going to buy the Wipeout Fury DLC and I may have to check out Shatter. The Dissidia Demo looks pretty good to, so downloading that can't hurt, either. Not a bad week, it's actually a rather good one, but it's still a disappointing one. I was really hoping for Fat Princess.

I was hoping we would have gotten Crystal Defenders like the European store did, that's cool, I can wait. I see that Trine and Fat Princess are also MIA, but that's not a bother. I do think I'll snag Shatter and Wild Arms 2. It's always nice to see more RPG's on the PSN. I'm hoping we'll get more Squ-Enix games soon. Parasite Eve 1+2 would be awesome to have on my PSP since part three will be on it at some point. Dissidia is awesome, BTW! It's fun and damn are the graphics sweet!

All I had to see to get me excited was this:
Wild Arms 2: PS1 Game"

but this?
"Dissidia Demo"

ooo... god yeah!!

*now just praying for them to offer up Xenogears, PE 1 and 2, and Brave Fencer Musashi as a PSN games*

fat chance on xenogears, considering the legal hell surrounding that game...
but it would certainly be nice, wouldn't it?

The Dissidia demo is great, I was afraid that the voice acting would be terrible, but it's better than expected. the FF7 characters being the voices from Advent children is nice, if predictable.

True, they did release it on Japanese PSN though, so theres a wee bit of hope at least.
I have a physical copy (normal, not greatest hits), but I'm worried that it'll crap out on me sooner or later.

Well, I was really looking forward to Dissidia, but the demo has completely turned me off. Maybe, it's just but I found the whole control scheme to be "what the hell?". Playing through as Sephiroth, all I kept hearing was "too the promise land" over and over and over. I'll give it another shot, but I would have much rather have a traditional based fighting game, i.e., Soul Calibur style with Final Fantasy characters then what this is. The whole fly around upside and weird angles stuff just isnt working for me.

All I can say is thank god for demos as this certainly moved from my must buy list to maybe buy it if its used next year list. Pity.

Did you read the controls if you're using the same attack over and over? I'm having no trouble with it and it's freakin amazing. So much skill and timing (at least on the harder difficulty) There is so much to this game with the 2 types of attacks, one that does no damage but basically lowers defense, while raising yours ..and then the other one that actually does damage (if you can time it right and hit em with it) Then there is also all the crazyness with the finishers and doding, countering with the blocking etc. Love it...

A little too late for a World at War demo, don't you think? I really hope that Infinity Ward releases a Modern Warfare 2 demo though. Hopefully they don't pull a half-ass marketing strategy and just give the demo to the PC, the beta to the 360 (which seems to be confirmed) while the PlayStation 3 gets jack shit.

I've been looking forward to Wipeout Fury for a while now. Played it for about 2 hours today. Hella fun, well worth the $10. 3 new gameplay modes, all of which are really fun, plus 8 new maps and new music - love it!
