THRICE!! ALEXISONFIRE!!! SENSES FAIL!!!

THAT SO GREAT.... is what i would have said 3 albums back for all 3 of them. New music from bands who aren't who they were. If they are still good is up to the individual but no one can deny they used to be so good

Thrice improves with every cd. It's not an opinion, that's fact. Now if you have nostalgia related love for identity crisis that's fine and totally respectable, but their new CDs are absolutely better.

Senses fail is kinda the same way except this song for guitar hero sucks hard.

Alexisonfire opening is bad but the singing is pretty awesome

well part of me will always love thrice stuff, i was one of the most hardcore fans around... but since Vuissnu i stopped listening to them.

do i think they suck? NO

do i think they changed? yes

does it make them better or worse? depends on the individual (as all music does)

Eh. The Senses Fail song is brand new. This is it's debut.

I actually really enjoyed their new cd; it was different. They should have released tracks from that instead of new stuff.

I would take any song from "Still Searching." It seems to have alot more depth and originality. The newest album is just wailing about drinking.

"Can't Be Saved" is already in GH3. Quite a good song imo.

We managed to go a whole 8 hours before the first "OMG!!! ROCK BAND IZ SOO MUCH BETTER!!!" fanboy post. That's progress.

@False
Let's look at this plainly, then. A 3-pack for GH this week, three 3-packs and a single this week for RB. Last week was 3-pack for GH, three 3-packs for RB. Week before: 3-pack GH, 8-pack and a 3-pack RB. Before that: 3-pack GH, two 3-packs and a single RB. Bands seem reasonably the same caliber for both games, even a few overlaps, but Rock Band has about 3x the quantity.

There's no reason not to be excited about this if you like the bands, but that's just a matter of taste. For most players, it is 3x more likely they will enjoy the Rock Band DLC, just by the raw quantity.

Argue amongst yourselves over which is a better game overall, which is more fun to play, which has better peripherals, which has better creative tools. But I fail to see any logical argument that Guitar Hero has beaten Rock Band at DLC. Perhaps it is you who is the fanboy?

@Bakkster

No sir, because I enjoy both games immensely (GH for its drumming system, RB for its overall presentation). But let's look at it this way. If this track pack were to hit Rock Band, the same people saying it sucks would be singing HMX's praises. But more than that, this whole argument has just gotten old. I'm so tired of seeing RB fanboyism run rampant in these threads, because no one ever adds anything new or relevant to these arguments. It's just blind rage at this point.

I will enjoy this track pack and will also enjoy RB's song packs that are coming next week (KISS and Weezer!). I don't need to see RB fanboy posts when the real story is that FUCKING THRICE!!!! has a song hitting at least one of these games.

Considering All the World is Mad is one of my favorite songs ever, this is good news! I can't say I care for the other bands at all, though.

...do you work for vagrant or have you just listened to the rip way too much to have that song be one of your favorite of all time?

Gah! Please call me when it's The Anniversary, The Get Up Kids, Reggie and the Full Effect or Saves the Day.

Circa 1999. Sigh.
