Guybrush Threepwood is quite possibly the coolest name ever. Just sayin.

Stan better be back and waving his arms around faster than ever....

I wish the article said how many episodes i'd be committing myself to if I purchased this.

Or you could take all of 30 seconds to find out yourself? But you wont have to do that because I have sacrificed those 30 seconds of my life which must be far less hectic and important than your own to bring you this answer:

Thanks for your answer and the epic amount of douche baggery.
Lucky @ Jul 25th 2009 7:17AM
THAT was an epic amount of douche baggery(sic)? 45 words is nowhere near to epic in scope where I come from.

I've been waiting for this to come out. Never tried the Monkey Island series before, but this looks to be a good time to start.

Good news for Wii owners! But how about PSN? Considering the very positive comments about the game on the Joystiq Podcast, i would love to play it on my PS3....

I have to wonder why on earth this is being released first on the Wii and not on the 360. Secret of Monkey Island surely has to be regarded as a success on the 360 it would be natural to follow it up reasonably quickly with the Tales games and keep that momentum going.
(Note: Own a Wii and a 360, have already played this on the PC so no console bias here)

"(Note: Own a Wii and a 360, have already played this on the PC so no console bias here)"
Yeah. That's not true at all.
Lucky @ Jul 25th 2009 1:38PM
Possibly because 360 got Wallace & Gromit first and Telltale wants to spread its limited resources fairly.
The Good Soldier Svejk @ Jul 25th 2009 8:14PM
Except it is. I'm also rocking a PS3, fortunately in this age we can prove all this shit via gamertags and friend codes. So go fuck yourself.
The Good Soldier Svejk @ Jul 25th 2009 8:19PM
Lucky: I can't understand that either. Wallace and Gromit seems far more suited to the Wii audience and a Monkey Island game much more to that of the 360, same with Sam and Max. Of course the ideal scenario (which appears to be beyond Telltale, possibly due to stupidity or lack of manpower) is that they release their games simultaneously on everything.

Kinda short notice, i suppose. Though that is the nature of WiiWare/VC. Nobody knows until NoA says, and they generally just let actions speak louder than words. (do whatever they feel like)

Dancing: the new battle system.
Evi1d33d @ Jul 25th 2009 1:30AM
They can squeeze the whole episode into that 40MB limit?
Hardy @ Jul 25th 2009 12:09PM
Yeah.... How can they fit all that audio in only 40MB when the graphics will look "similar" to that?
Did Nintendo up the size limit?

I think the publisher must acknowledge its followers about its rounds and story..........
