Biggest thing they need to fix is the store itself...slow and clunky, I get impatient using it.

I don't mind these songs. But the main questions is why are we getting a fraction (or non) of what the EU Singtore gets here in the States? THere are plenty of Singstar fans over here too. Can they at least update the Singstore with all the songs from past games? "The reason" by Hubbastank just announced for the EU Singstore was in Singstar Pop yeasr ago. Can't that just be added to the US Singstore as well?

It's probably all down to licensing, thats the usual excuse!

A few of the songs in that list are on the first ps3 Singstar disk already, so they must already have the rights?

Another thing that annoys me is that if you buy a 5 song pack, it doesn't show that you've bought the songs when you look at them individually. I sometimes let my sister buy a song or two. When you start to build quite a big collection it could get confusing.. and I don't want to pay more than once for the same song.

Yeah, licensing crap… the music companies have created such a tangled web of licensing regulations that any innovative use has to jump through hoops and takes years to get started.

And then they wonder why people download music illegally. Bft.

It took like 10 years between when download software like Napster got popular and that they finally let us download and pay for DRM-free music, and years before online music purchases were possible at all (under ridiculously restrictive conditions).

Singstar is out for 2 and a half years already and only now did they manage to bring in one of the major music labels.

It's as a punishment, because all the American gamers here are re tards who don't have their own thoughts they think what Joystiq tells them to think.

See the posts above for classic examples of brainwashed m orons.
