Okay, this is useful. I can make my generic canvas sneakers red instead of black, just like my real-life Chucks.

I know, it's like living in the future, if the future was 1988.

Such a simple change can create 100s of new combinations, making it almost impossible to see two people wearing the exact same thing with only the free stuff.

Hopefully I can finally change that baseball cap my avatar is wearing to something other than red!

*braces self for the dissapointment just in case we still won't be able to change the color of most items, despite how easy it should be.

This should have been in there from the start! The avatars have a lot of potential but got a lot less attention than they should have. How hard would it be to have implemented this in the first place?

Unless you got a email from microsoft saying you were to be in the beta

then you'll get into the beta

if you didnt get the email then you wont get the update... even if you say you were promised it.... microsoft didnt promise anything to anyone... its all down to random selection to see who gets the beta

Yay?
Honestly, I wish they'd take their stuff and separate it more. They have trench coats, but it only comes in a set. I'd rather have that separated so I could combine that coat with the white shirt and jeans my avatar wears. That first, then colors...

@ James

id love to see some new hairstyles. all the hairstyles are unisex (anybody can wear them) but i agree that most of the hairdos available are geared towards the ladies.

@ SL33P4H ISIIKIz

no, you cant use the hair color trick on anything but hair.

I want to be able to wear my hat backwards or sideways, be able to change the color of all my clothes. that includes shoes, hats, shirts, glasses.

If Microsoft doesnt offer this then im of the opinion that the Avatar Store thats going to be implamented in the new updates going to fail, but it might fail anyways..who wants to pay 1,200 ms points for a shirt...

The same people who spend real money to get useless apparel in 90% of free games, that expires in a month, so you have to constantly pay for them.

Which, surprisingly, is a lot.
