And I'm sure someone will make an excuse for all those sales... Anything besides Halo shouldn't sell that well! :0

No, Uncharted 2 should sell that well. Forza 3 should sell that well, MW2 and ME2 should sell more...

From what I understand the game was savaged by hardcore fans for being not like the others, mostly due to the armor customization feature. But the sells numbers indicate it might be good.

Didn't Famistu give it one of their only perfect scores ever? I'd say that's a good indicater that it might be good.

It's very good. One of my friends was in Osaka for the summer, and he picked it up. He just got home yesterday and we've been playing it for hours. It's very different than the norm, but it's still a good game in it's own right.

I'm playing it, and I'd have to say if I only understood Japanese, I would be playing non-stop. But then again, I'm one of those JRPG guys. So my opinion doesn't count unless you are one too. Or let's say I feel like I play DQ8 again but better.

wait I thought longhorn was saying it doesn't make sense since the review itself is very vital to the score: for example, Nintendogs was given a really high score not because it was a fantastic game but because they felt like it was the best pet simulator on the market. I don't think 39/40 tells you that in English

They should just mail a copy of the game to every house with a bill. Saves everyone the time of going to the store and adding up the sales.

No, 360 fanboys say Japan doesn't matter.

They also are 12 years old and shout racial epithets all over Xbox Live.

I own an Xbox 360, am 19 years old, and am a practicing Jew. There's no need to stereotype. By making comments like that, you yourself become no better than them. Have a little dignity, friend.

By "them", I mean those kids you're describing. And I will concede that there are a lot of douchebag kids on Live. Not everyone fits into that category, however.

How would you know that Cody, can you hear them through your Wii? Oh thats right, we deal only in stereotypes and baseless statements around here. I also forgot that everyone who plays the Wii only is an angel and does no wrong.

One would think that true if they never read Cody's comments.

Japan doesn't matter though. They only do this for DQ and FF, everything else is left out to die.

Also, lol at Cody calling someone else 12. You're what, 18-20 and still acting like a gangsta? Time to grow up a bit, it's not as funny as it was in high school.

DS RPGs aren't successful in the US if you are over a certain age, cause it prevents you from attracting the opposite sex. Its science

Honestly Akuma, RPGs aren't the problem. It's bathing rituals. I don't know many fellow female gamers that dislike RPGs and I dare say that's all most of my female gaming friends play. Shouldn't be a barrier.

RPGs aren't the problem - the DS is. Girls over 25 will laugh at your portable video game machine. Not bathing keeps them from getting close enough to laugh.
