With Ubisoft pushing moretitles into 2010, what is still coming out in 2009? The biggest name on that list might be Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling Tweeted the first look at the anticipated title's multiplayer, introducing the AC130 Killstreak, which is a reward for people who are so awesome they are given a free plane.
Put on your awesomeness-vision goggles, and turn any nearby plastic heads toward the computer so they can also get an eyeful of new Modern Warfare 2 footage, which is after the break.
Mana, hasnt the kill cam always been the staple feature of the series? What I want is "saved films" like in Halo 3 so we can re-live those awesome moments.
I was thinking about getting Fallout 3 and MAG for my Fall/Winter gaming needs. I wasn't super interested in this . . . until now. My jaw dropped when watching the vid - the destruction is amazing.
You call that destruction? Have you ever played a recent Battlefield or Red Faction: Guerilla? I saw destruction like this on the PS2! Sorry, it's just that it annoys me how somebody armed to the teeth can't knock down a small brick wall!
Now if it reduced enemy players into red goo ( like AC130 rounds would do in real life), sure it would be realistic, but I am certain that is now IW style.
i'm just surprised that the guy got 2300 points total for that one kill... they must have added a TON of new challenges! sticking someone is probably one of them...
Donna Summer people. I'm just saying the guy flying through the concrete wall, the pots exploding, the glass blowing up, the fire hydrant going off, etc. is much more enjoyable than none of the above happening.
@ JXCgunrunna: I'm sure you're trying to make a point - I'm just not able to comprehend what that point might be. I think we all know Call of Duty is not a Microsoft product.
My comment was in regards to iluvmyzune's comment that "dude, mag sucks call of duty's cock and gives it a rim job". Not only is that inappropriate, but it reeks of fanboyism. He jumped on MAG before the game has been released.
Let's imagine that I create a name, let's call it IlovemySonywalkman. Using this name I reply to somebody's comment in which they state they are excited for the new Halo ODST. I say "Dudez, Halo blowz - Call of Duty totally rockz!" with my username of IlovemySonywalkman. Do you think that maybe, just maybe, other forum members would be able to decipher my hatred of Microsoft and possibly reach the conclusion that I love Sony products? Some people might even go as far as calling me a fanboy.
If I misunderstood your post, I can assure you that I understand that there is a difference between not liking item A and liking item B.
Actually, I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant that because hes being a ass about MAG, a game he hasnt even played, and given his name that you were assuming he was considering CoD better than MAG because he hates sony and MAG is a sony product.
My point is this. I love my 360 and I do not like Wii sports(resort is awesome tho) but I would consider myself a strong Nintendo supporter. So maybe he doesnt like the idea of MAG but he does like other sony products. I do not think thats the case given his comment but it is possible
Another interpretation that might make sense for what Adam could have been implying is as follows:
to quote adam: "@ iluvmyzune: I'm guessing you love all of your Microsoft products and not just your Zune. "
My interpretation: @ i lovemyzune, I'm guessing your a *cough*retarded*cough* 360 fanboy.
Big Middle finger up at Activision F$CK you , they are trying to charge us £55 here in the uk for this game, they can suck my balls and give that 360 ilovemyzune joker a rim job for that sort of money ( i dont like my ass hole being licked, i figure he is into that sort of foreplay before he gets shafted again with no vaseline.. )
Then theres the issue with the online multiplayer.. Are these tightfisted w@nk3rs going to still implement peer2peer and use the same shitty anti lag code which punishes the host ? Will they still randomly throw the connection onto any player within the list and completely screw him up ? Will the multi player end up sucking donkey balls like usual because Activision are a bunch of tight fisted w$nk3rs with el kobang the dirty donkey c0ck sucking money grubber still at its helm ready with his small cock out ready to shaft all possible purchasers of this game ?
again F$CK Activision !
With that said, its still looks pretty awesome, but im resisting temptation.. Sorry went into a mini rant there ahh its late..
@iluvmyzune "yes adam, call of duty is made by microsoft" . . . ok zune (I love my zune also - it's a freakin awesome mp3 player), I'm not sure where you get your information. Call of Duty, specifically Modern Warfare 2 is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. I don't know where the hell you get the idea that it's a Microsoft product. It can be played on the xbox along with the ps3 and the pc. They'll probably make versions for the various portable machines too, but it is definitely not made by Microsoft.
@sc00by_y00: That was an awesome interpretation and rant. Kudos to you. You made my night.
why do they insist on having the messages pop up in the middle of the screen? It's so annoying. They need to move them to right above the event list or at least put them at the top of the screen.
My favorite are the achievements you unlock immediately after finishing a level where the achievement title spoils the ending of the 2-minute cutscene you've just started watching.
He never said "almost buy" you retard. He said "almost the exact same NVGs" Which means you can buy something that is kind of IDENTICAL to the COD ones(almost the exact same thing. If you cant read English correctly, you have NO right to nitpick his CORRECT sentence.
It is nice how they added something beyond 7. They should have some incredible reward for a 20 killstreak or something. Like a whole fleet of planes that could basically cover the whole field. It's so hard that it wouldn't happen to often (people can't complain about how "cheap" it is, even if the person earned it), and the person that earned it would feel so awesome.
