Hey! I collect stamps, thank you very much!

It's at least cheaper than my video game collecting habit, just not as much fun.

I bet when they did this test, they asked a bunch of old people: "will you keep playing with your wii even when you get old".
They must've answered "Sure, as long as I can keep it up I'll be playing with it!"

Look at his face, as if he just got to see a pair of tits for the first time. Fuck you Nintendo, trying to play on that "gamers are virgins" stereotypical bullshit.
Now, if you will excuse me, I'm going to look at the lingerie pages of the Target circular.

@Mutoid Man...

To tell the truth, no one but the honorable MystileArmor can answer that question for you, though I'd guess it stemmed from his love of fattened up celebrities and their bath water.

It started with Mystile and his comment about drinking the bathwater of a fat Megan Fox in some post, don't remember where, but it spanned from there. And I just been bringing up every time I get a chance.

Yeah, I stated somewhere that even if Megan Fox got fat, I'd still drink her bathwater. I don't know, I've liked her way before she was in Transformers and all. I remember flipping through channels one day and seeing her on Hope and Faith and I was like "SCHWINGGGG"
I know I've seen her before that as well, but I never knew her name till then.

This is false, quite frankly. Just look at Japan. Gamer drift is very real

The vast expansion of the market in other regions is fast enough to cover any signs of gamer drift, and perhaps it is just less overall here, but it is definitely a real phenomenon

I'm 29 and drifting.... I still consider myself a gamer but it's harder to find games that interest me. I don't think i'll ever give up completely though.

The drifting is perhaps caused by NIntendo's child-focused systems or the 360's constant failure rate.

Just as everyone now watches movies and TV, eventually video games will become a major medium. which means once the geezers die, we won't have to worry about the law censoring and banning video games.

I think we'll have to wait a bit longer to see if gamers truly stay gamers for life. Videogames haven't been out as long as the average human lifespan.

I can buy this, although I do think they are leaving out the section where gamers become alienated and may stop gaming for some period of time before resuming.

And to what extent they begin playing again varies per person. IMO.
