Unless in the next you end up as a nomadic pygmy or something, in which case you'll have to settle for cup n' ball.

Is there different settings to play?

Single player only, 2 modes. You either try to get in the ball in the cup (difficult setting), or try to make sure that you do not get the ball in the cup (easy setting)

Hope the DLC is good, though it will probably another ball that was already on the cup.

I can see game activity waning as you get older and have less time for hobbies, but I can see your hobby living on, esp. as you have kids and introduce them to it. I'm pretty sure I'll be a gamer 4 lyfe.

Um, what? I think you have it backwards there. When you get old and retire, you have *tons* of time on your hands.

@Wired: Retirement only accounts for a small part of getting older, unfortunately, since retirement age keeps climbing to over 65. A bigger chunk of your life involves the kid-raising part and working hard, from age 25-65.

Don't forget to get inked with the obligatory "4 Lyfe" tatt.

This certainly goes against my life experience. I'm 40, I've been gaming since 1972, and I remember a time when almost everyone I knew was a gamer. But of the people from back then that I'm still in touch with, almost none of them are still gaming. They stopped a very very long time ago and never came back. Hmm.

Getting a high-score in baseball at Wii Sports does NOT make you a gamer!

I'll take it slow:

You are PLAYING a GAME on a GAMING CONSOLE when you PLAY Wii Sports baseball.

That's generally the definition of a gamer. It may not make you an elitist arse, but it does make you a gamer.

That picture above made me thing deeply about something. How come old ladies cut their hair off? I am not saying that the old lady above is a super hot and a gilf, but by her having her hair long she has retained a bit of femininity in her old age. Makes her "human" in the eyes of the superficial.

So to all you women in your golden years, don't be afraid to let it go long. Who knows you might get lucky and bag year old man with a fetish.

Shorter hair is easier to take care of. A lot of women get tired of having long hair and just want to keep things easy.

I agree with you though, I prefer the longer hair, even in old-age.

Hell im 18 and ive been gaming since gamboy pocket and dont plan on stopping. My boss at the powdered metal plant i work at is 47, married, and has 3 kids, and he comes to my desk every once in a while to tell me about some new ps3 game he played, and is obsessed with the uncharted 2 beta. He has been gaming since there have been video games.

I look forward to gaming with my kids, and hopefully grandkids.

Well, I'm not into games as much I used to be, but I'm trying to eventually work for a videogame company. Irony.

This is baloney.

I know lots of people, including my brother, who stopped playing video games.

Mystile Armor, ArciGamer - thanks for the laughs.

OT: I didn't get into gamming until I was 21 (do to astrological odds, my life changed in devastating fashion forcing me to be stuck inside nearly all the time. I turned to gaming as an outlet).

I've been a gamer ever since. I find that as I get older, maybe it's due to the tech advances with games, I am actually more interested in games than ever before. My co-op buddy and best friend IRL joke about all the good times we'll have being re-united in some old folks home and spending our days playing video games as opposed to dominos, bridge and bingo.
