Homefront comes home in 2010 (or early 2011)

We're going to go ahead and guess that THQ is aiming for the later half of 2010, because the first half of the year is going to be jam-packed with stuff that was supposed to come out in 2009.

If the game focuses on real guerrilla styled warfare, I'm looking at you Red Faction Guerrilla, instead of open warfare styled combat I'd definitely buy it.

Someone's been watching ZP ;)

I'm really excited for this game. I didn't even buy the first after the demo but something about playing in such a familar setting is really appealing to me.

This is the worst video game enemy ever. Unless...wait....do you play AS North Korea?
Paul @ Jul 28th 2009 8:25PM
I'm wondering how exactly they are going to tell this story. Does america completely dismantle it's navy?! I'm so confused as to how north korea would even get soldiers across the pacific ocean in one piece. maybe radar doesn't exist in this game

Being an avid fan of World in Conflict, I am sure as hell getting this if it plays as a good non-linear game.
Bobs @ Jul 28th 2009 8:48PM
....
wtf?
This game is an FPS ... not an RTS
It is not being developed by Massive Entertainment
In fact ... the only resemblance this has to WiC is the invasion of the states .... which has been done before .... WiC was not the first to do it
Anyway ... I'll get it once I get some play time with a demo. Frontlines was decent, but wasn't very appealing.

Graphics looks so real
ChomskyKnows @ Jul 28th 2009 9:31PM
can they weave in PS3's home in here somehow? have that vehicle in the screen shot bulldoze through your PS3 home while you're doin the cabbage patch? (see what i did there?)
Breakerchase @ Jul 28th 2009 9:52PM
@Bobs
Don't get your panties up in a knot now, alternate history is awesome.
And by the way, World in Conflict is a real time tactics game.
