The mystery is why people keep buying them.

Are these games any good? Diamond is the only Pokemon game I ever bought and I liked it. These games remind me of the Megaman Starforce games. Just because they're taking an existing franchise and tacking it on something different. Also are the Starforce games good?

Wait for the Heart Gold and Soul Silver games. The original Silver and Gold games were great.

The Mystery dungeon games are...okay. If you're that addicted to pokemon, you may enjoy them, but they're definitely not great games.

As a hardcore Pokémon addict, no. These games are simply mediocre dungeon RPGs with a familiar name stamped on it to sell more copies.

If you're looking for a good Pokemon spin-off game, try Ranger, both of them have been really good, and closer to the Pokemon universe I've always imagined.

These games certainly aren't worth the attention.

As Pokemon games, they suck since they're just random dungeon crawlers. As Mystery Dungeon games go, they suck since they're just random dungeon crawlers. If the play style seems interesting to you, research Shiren the Wanderer instead.

I don't care much about Pokemon, yet I liked Explorers of Time because it was a nice dungeon crawler. Feels like dumbed-down Shiren (same developer), but it's a great toilet title :)

While I can't actually disagree with them, I will say to try and rent it (Blockbuster has DS rentals when available). It's basically another dungeon crawler, but has a nice storyline.

Me too!
BTW in diamond/pearl bidoof was really useful, because it learns many VMs! I always kept him in my sqad for the dirty work!

Jeez, only Pokemon I recognize is the middle one, Eevee was the name and it can evolve into three different Pokemon depending on the stone you give it? Been 10 years since I played Pokemon and watched the show, only know about the original generation.
