Fat Princess Home space arrives tomorrow, Trophy list arrives now

Tomorrow, Fat Princess begins its invading spree. First it'll invade the PlayStation Store, then it'll invade PlayStation Home and then, finally, the game will invade our hearts. The European Home Events space will be decked out with Fat Princess characters and you will be tasked with answering eight questions about the game in order to win slices of cake. Obtaining all eight slices will net you a Princess Throne for your Home apartment.

We're not sure whether this space will be available in the US version of Home too, but don't worry Americans, we've got something for you here, too. The Trophy list for Fat Princess has been handed to us on a crumb-littered silver platter, and you can check out some of the hilarious names the devs have dreamt up right now. Our favorite? "The Cake Is Not A Lie," obviously!

nope. it'll release around 3-4 ECT (normal PSN update time).

and heres my reason to go visit HOME again after 2 months

home seems like alot of extra effort for not much pay off. I cant imagine many people even bothering with home since its so poorly integrated into the console.

you got your games over here, and you have home separate from them. the way mii/avatars are implemented they're integrated into your interface and into some games directly.

They're integrated into the games? How?

Well with Wii, on stuff like Wii Sports and Resort, your Mii is your player character. Same with a few games on 360.

if Home wasn't so separate, i would probably use it more. but as it is now, it's not really all that fun running around and doing nothing. i was mostly excited about the game launching and cross game voice chat Home was supposed to bring but i haven't seen them yet unfortunatley.

and i have a Wii and 360 as well and as far as Avatars/Miis/Home Characters go, neither really gives you much to do. my 360 avatar kind of just sits there, sure it was fun to make him dizzy and burp for like 10 minutes but that's about it. and the only real enjoyment i got out of Miis where the celebrity Miis i would find in the Mii parade. i guess Home offers the most interaction with them but even then it's not really all that fun. different strokes for different folks i guess.

Just because I'm not poor doesn't mean I'm rich, and even if I was I wouldn't just blow money on things I don't want or not sure that I want.

Oh, okay... But, what about the JRPG question? Have you played one?... Maybe just tested one out?... Come one, you can tell us...

I actually used to be a huge JRPG fan from the snes era up to the ps2 era, and I guess technically the very early stages of this gen. I was really excited for Enchanted Arms, but it was terrible. Then I played Oblivion, and it changed everything for me. I woke up and realized how bad jrpgs were nowadays, and playing games like DQ 8 for ps2 (late to the party there) and Lost Odyssey just re-affirmed my newly born hatred for jrpgs.

Ah yeah I forgot about that. I only made it up to the very beginning of disc three before I got tired of it though. That has to be the easiest jrpg I've played, I don't think I had a full party die on me up to where I stopped.

And I should update that page, but I really don't feel like adding all 100+ games I've owned this gen. They need to make one big list so you can add a bunch at once.

tmac, fat princess does have a single player campaign. just sayin'.

Im with you, JRPG are just cute to watch. But havent changed that much since the SNES. Its just pretty graphics. I just got tired of the game engine just been text options. But after Oblivion and fallout ...i will never touch a JRPG. well maybe Quantum because i hope you can shoot freely or have text options to do the atacks or even better. Also i kind of got bored about the stories in JRPGs... save the world its just to cliche. Dont hate me. Its just my opinion, i know there are tons of people who love JRPG.

I'd say TF2, but I suppose I bought that as part of the Orange Box.

Crap it is the release day and im awake already 27 hours. I guess i have an unhealthy obsession for the game and i haven't even played it yet. I have been waiting impatiently on the PSN since 7 am i dont know why in the world i thought that Sony would release a game that early. Although it is a little after 1pm Eastern time and nothing yet... im so anxious for this game
