Less generic jrpg (that even japan didn't like) and more Dark Cloud 3. It'd be a good way to redeem yourselves Level-5.

Seriously, we fucking get it. You don't like JRPGS. Maybe you could just....oh I don't know...stay out of articles about them! People enjoy different genres and just because you don't like it doesn't mean nobody else can!

You know what's more generic?

A black guy that calls himself tmac and his name having anything to do with a brand of shoes too expensive for him to purchase...

But in this case, they're Jordans.

To be fair Klepto, most people don't care about jrpgs anymore. Like I said, it's becoming a niche genre within an already niche genre.

That's why Japan needs more games like Dark Cloud. It was as far away from a jrpg as I've seen Japan go, to the point where the only way you could still call it a jrpg is because it was made in Japan.

A generic JRPG? From gameplay videos it looks like anything but. Even if that's all that is, the quality of cutscenes was like nothing I've seen short of Square Enix. If "even Japan didn't like it" is true, this can only be good news - they like their stuff generic, so if this one wasn't... Anyway very little has trickled here about the game so far, except for that one mediocre impression from some snotty website.

game sucks period, no need to defend it thats why all promo pictures were of the pre-rendered movies instead of the ps2 level graphics of in game engine.

I am starting to think that tmac actually really loves JRPG's and is ashamed of it.

He hides this love for them by insulting them every chance he gets. Sort of like how little kids who have crushes on each other bully each other to show their affection.

If White Knight was called Final Fantasy... would you still call it generic?

Anywho, Getting WK and hopefully the sequel when it arrives.

How is it a rumor if there is scan for proof?? Does it need to be official announced on their website or someone online website for it to not be a rumor??

Since the game is done (pretty much) and was a decent seller (at least in the only market it has been released so far). I can understand a sequel could be in the works.

I also think Sony is starting to figure out they can't really rely on Square-Enix to bring top notch rpg's to their platforms anymore.
