Worse? This one's full of some of the best stuff we saw when we got our grubby mitts on the game during E3 -- engaging multiple enemies in interesting ways, sneaking around the rafters, and of course, stealth-killing unsuspecting goons. Enough with the teasing though -- August 25th is still so far away!

@eat my face
How is it too soon? Heath died over a year ago. Plus, that doesn't have to be a bad thing, seeing how Heath's performance of the Joker was awesome. Sorry if I killed your joke (no pun intended).

hey staff at joystiq...
you think you could possibly get some other player, or just up the ante on your player to make it a little higher in terms of quality. not saying its the case w/ this video (i dont know if there are any other sources), but a lot of times you guys have videos that are 'meh' in terms of quality, then someone in a post links to a HD version on gametrailers/youtube...or if not an HD version, just one that is HQ and doesn't look at pixelated/movie-cam ish. i mean i really dont think i'm in the minority either because anytime someone makes the link they get highest ranked. well, just my .02
oh by the way, i never noticed it until i started watching your videos on my computers in between classes at school. but on slower computers, the videos play like hell. i remember someone brought this up a long time ago and i never noticed until i started having free time at school.
k, thank you. keep doing what you're doing though...i love joystiq!! =)

Beating up dudes is good, just add a batterang and you have a great game!
Let's recap:
Beating up lots of dudes + batterang = success!

It does. I played a demo at a Target kiosk, and you can use the batterang(or however you spell it). IIRC, the batterang(sp?) stuns your enemies.
That said, the demo I played of the game was only short 'challenges' where Joker puts you against some of his minions in the prison(or maybe they're just random prisoners), but it was really fun. Its pretty easy to dodge attacks and perform counterattacks, so you can see yourself easily taking out 9 guys coming towards you at once. Very fun game, and I only played a short part of it. Will probably be picking this one up soon.

This game is the real deal. I've played it and it's excellent. My only complaint is it's probably too smart for me. The WB rep was telling me about a dozen awesome ways I could take these guys out in a room and I just kept climbing up to the rafters and swooping down anyway. I cannot WAIT to play the whole thing.

This comment system seems to be going through troubles of its own.

From the demo, I assume that the dev diary is just one fairly well-written sentence repeated hundreds of times.
