That will be great if they did but for the love of god.. they need to slow down and make a better custom map program. not just half ass it like halo 2 vista.

It's just to cover up the stumbling. They say they're not working on one to ease the tension from yesterday's incident and then BAM! TGS happens. Besides, Twitter is as viable a source for accurate information as the internet.

Damnit, I was really hoping Gearbox would stay away from Halo, but this just as much confirms something is going on... A PC port of Halo 3 is fine, but stay the fuck away from Halo 4.

Agreed. A port is one thing, but a full-blown Gearbox Halo is another...I just played through the latest Brothers in Arms and it was mediocre. UNSKIPPABLE cinematics are unforgivable. We'll have another chance to see what they can do with Borderlands...but handing over the Halo IP to them is probably a mistake.

I'm guessing Microsoft has the rights to Halo, with Bungie being the studio that developed it and broke off on 7/7/08 (or was it 07?) - anyway can Bungie work on Halo stuff? Gearbox could be working with Bungie rather than Microsoft on a Halo project - unless Bungie isn't allowed to do anything with Halo unless MS approves? I have no clue.
