Aside from nerding out over all that voice talent, we also noticed the video shows off a lot of neat stuff about the actual game. You should watch it. Right now would be good.

This trailer got me really pumped for the game. I like that it's a lot more character driven and inline with the gameplay from Halo 1. The free roaming gameplay and flashback segments should make it pretty interesting..
And woo, the Brute plasma rifle is back.

I'm getting more excited about this game every day. When I first heard about it I was iffy at best. I'm really liking how this is panning out now and glad to see how different it will play from what we are now used to.

You know I was on the fence about the game. I figured I'd buy it but I was going to wait for a price drop. Now I'm feeling like I'll pay closer to the $60 bones. I'll still do some smart shopping though.

I thought nothing of this game until now. If Nathan Fillion talks to me throughout, I will buy it. Even if it's the same old shit as the last three.

I'm fairly sure Nolan North is in EVERY video game nowadays. The only problem is, everytime I hear him now I think I'm playing Uncharted.
Pretty sure he's the voice of the main guy in Shadow Complex too, so I'll be thinking "hey it's Drake!" while I'm playing that

Just IMDB'ed him...
He's in Halo Wars but not in ODST neither shadow complex... but still, the game has not been finished and the credits did not roll over yet to find out...
Some games i did not expect him to be are InFamous (played it A LOT and didn't recognizes his voice) and Ice Age (WTF?)

I think he is in SC though, it just hasn't been listed yet. When 1up played some of it during their game night the guy sounded just like him in one of the cutscenes.

The character in Shadow Complex might as well be Drake. Looks just like him - half-tuck and all!

I think it's a little early to be using SC for Shadow Complex.
Though once StarCraft 2 is out, you'll have to wait another decade.

Remember that one time on Firefly when Nathan Fillion kicked that dude into the propeller? That was awesome.

This is awesome AWESOME news. For one it makes it pretty evident that they're putting a lot of work into the story. I always admired the Halo universe for its story anyway, but this looks like they're putting in more than ever. Looks like the music is taking a shift too and I like it.

I thought the same thing. The music definitely sounded different. I like the new direction they took with it. It still has some drum driven songs with a chorus and then the song progressed through the video really well. They had to throw the little guitar riff in at the end, too :)

This game seems to be surprising a lot of people. A year ago, everyone was writing it off but it has definitely grown into its own and separate from Halo 3. Actually sounds like it will be really fun too. It has definitely moved up on my most wanted list since E3.
Filion, Baldwin, and Tudyk in major roles is really icing on the cake. I'm holding out for a surprise guest appearance from Maher and Torres.

Why not just make a GOOD Firefly game?!? The characters and lore BEG for it. It could be called "The Lost Heists" and be a squad-based adventure-shooter. Sucks that they just let that die as a franchise. The stories were great, the actors were great... Stupid networks.

Damn that was a good game.

One of the best promo vids to date! Like others posted, I was iffy when it was annouced but I'm getting pumped for it.
I think it's going to be a refreshing change to play a normal ODST solider as opposed to MC.

I'm not a halo hater, a sony/nintendo fanboy or anything of the sort, but I don't see the difference between master chief and these shock troopers. I mean, you can still mount and rip off turrets, walk around with them, and you can still single-handedly destroy hunters, which are formidable foes. You also face handfuls of brutes by yourself. I know the mjolnir armor is powerful and everything, but where is the line that separates the super soldier and the regular trooper?
guess I'll have to wait until the game releases to find out.
and yes, I'm aware of the fact that there is fall damage, no dual-wielding, and no shield regen. most shooters don't have these features either.

From what I understand, the ODSTs aren't just "regular troopers," UNSC has the Marines for that. I think they're supposed to be a medium between the Marines and the Spartans.

Sold. How awesome is it that Tudyk is voicing the pilot and Baldwin is voicing the tough guy. It's like they took Firefly and Halo and asked a simple question"
Will They Blend?
I think they will!

Oh thank God I wasn't the only one to think of that. Any time someone brings up the syndicated run of the Kill Bill movies, someone in my family has to say it.
