You know, before this trailer I had no interest in ODST and anymore Halo in general. I hate the idea of everyone in the galaxy being completely incompetent and relying on a single indestructible, super-human like, individual to do all of their work for them.

I like the guerrilla warfare approach. I'm reading the books, and the games don't really convey the sense of urgency and despair, mostly because of the great gameplay making the story telling less relevant/interesting.

Love me my Halo3 from time to time but disappointed that there is no significant improvement on the graphics. I know its not officially the sequal to 3 but if xbox wants to show that it can compete a bit with the PS3, they need to do better on one of their flagship titles. (Drakes Fortune 2 is just so beautiful).
This game will sell (I'll be picking it up on day one), but probably not to the same degree as Halo3.

Game looks fun, but all the writing and acting in that trailer is terrible! That exposition was a real eye-roller. 'Bad Company' only had a few embarrassing scenes, but this 'buddy team flick' Bungie has may take it to new levels of camp.

I agree with you completely, I felt the same way about the dialogue, cinematics and story for the other Halo games were just as bad. Bungie can't execute good story telling. O Connor said something related in a video recently, about why Halo must be brought to other formats to explain the story. I have asked people numerous times why they like Halo's story I couldn't get a straight answer. Love to get a straight answer.
