Why was everyone saying SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY
joeythehobo @ Aug 1st 2009 1:19PM
Hog, it was because Chris' voice had a big echo on it, and we wanted him to say "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY" in an announcer voice.
Also, yes, Carck Edition.
Damian @ Aug 6th 2009 8:21AM

I think the podcast was so-so but what I don't like is all the Halo criticism (and enough with Monkey Island, PLEASE).
As long as Bungie/MS continues to put out a good product than I'm all down for it. You did the same thing last podcast as well. The feeling that I got (minus Justin's approval of ODST now) was that Halo Legends marks some kind of milking of the franchise.
I don't consider it milking as long as I'm not getting ripped of and so far, they've delivered the goods. From the games to the books...whatever, they've done a good job of providing Halo fans with quality products. It's unfortunate that the industry trend as far as the "enthusiast press" is concerned is to be as jaded and pessimistic as possible. Whatever happened to games being appreciated for the fun they provide? The trend towards elitist snobbery in game journalism is annoying to say the least and sadly spreading like a cancer. The goal all too often is an attempt at humor by being an asshole.
Not necessarily saying that's the case with joystiq (if the shoe fits though...) but in the case of places like 1up and destructiod, I'm hard pressed for a decent podcast to listen to anymore. I just hope joystiq doesn't become the next podcast to flat out suck.

The Bindamub is freaking great!

Great show. Loved Rabbit's piece.

Regarding the turtle puzzle in The Dig:
There's a turtle fossil on the next screen for reference, so there IS a picture in-game of exactly what it's supposed to look like. The problem is, no one remembers that the fossil is there by the time they need it.
Sullivan @ Aug 4th 2009 7:49PM
I finally made a podcast.
Justin, I'm touched.
My anger issues have finally paid off.
Kewlrats @ Aug 7th 2009 10:18AM
Hey, that's my sketch!
Also, I keep missing the show because I'm at work.
D'OH to firewallz!

I may be in the minority but as I am always behind in listening to the podcast I totally hate the live shows. the sound quality is bad, Justin is always walking away but leaving his mic on and you all seem to get distracted by the chatroom.
