I would encourage Joystiq to hire this guy, AND meet his wage demands.

I don't give a crap who writes... JUST GIVE ME MY DAMN OKAMI SEQUEL!

Wii Sports Resort. It is actually an easy game to just play. You don't have to think, you just progressively unlock stuff in different sports, and always seem to be going on to some new challenge. It's not quite linear progression, but it keeps you motivated, a must for a minigame collection.

I find myself still compelled to play bits of The Legendary Starfy and The Conduit when i can find the time. Both are very compelling, and i'm saddened to have to have them on the sidelines

It's pretty much going to be Wii Sports Resort for me this weekend, too. I'm hoping to have a few friends come over so I can finally try out the multiplayer. Sword fighting so far is so kick ass.

I have the same feeling with The Legendary Starfy, I play it bit by bit and keep coming back to hack away at it. There is just something about it...

of course its easy, Nintendo doesn't want the stoopid casual gamers to strain there brain with something that requires serious philosophical thought like Halo or Super Rub-a-Dub.

on a serious not, outside of the obvious picks (Archery, Sword fighting, Bowling, Table Tennis, Golf) what would you say is the best game? Which game would you say is the worse?

I'd say just flying around Wuhu island in the plane is pretty fun at times, though not challenging at all, and the plane is sometimes a little slow for the time limit of 5 minutes.

Saying that, the cycling is surprisingly not a bad game (except the control scheme) with some strategy to win the races.

Best game would be table tennis, though I'm now hitting a stumbling block around the 1500 mark since if I lose a game, I'll drop down another 100 points, and then take 2-3 games to get back up.

Gonna be playing some more InFamous as well as 'Splosion man which is awesome!

I knew there was going to be some sort of reference to the tv show.

You will be missed Jem, you really were truly, truly, truly outrageous.

I solved Disgaea (finally), so now I've picked up both BlazBlue and MvC2 and am working on getting a handle on playing them on the 360. I can't find a d-pad I like. I would've picked them up for PS3 if I didn't like how the DS3 felt for SFIV either.

Maybe I should try an arcade stick, although it's been 20 years since I last got to use one...

Oh, and I finally got around to playing through Ben There, Dan That. Looking forward to Time Gentlemen, Please.

You'll get used to the stick fast, if you're at all like me. I don't like the buttons being so spaced out, but it's about 10 billion times easier to pull off the moves with a stick after some practice.
PLUS! SFIV is only $20 bucks this weekend, so you may as well load up on fighters.

this weekend i've got to go to gamestop to try and pick up the blazblue LE and street fighter 4 while it's still on sale. i'll have to pick up 2 $20 PSN cards too.

but i should get to the point: what's better in your opinion: blazblue or street fighter?

I can answer! Definitely BB! Everything comes with it, no additional DLC to add (SFIV charges you for additional costumes and I'm so OCD I have to complete the game by buying it), and the netcode for BB is FLAWLESS!

SFIV's online mode is very annoying... I really like BlazBlue's lobby, quick matches, and ranking mode.

I don't have a lot of time this weekend, sadly. I'll get a little Brave Story in on the PSP, but that's about it.

I picked up Wii Sports Resort last night, and am thoroughly enjoying it ( I'm looking at you "Island Flyover!" - addicting! ) .

I may pick up Saints Row 2, but am a little unsure. Is it worth the buy? Or should I rent?

It's a PSN weekend for me. Wipeout Fury for me with Large portions of Fat Princess for dessert. That game is pretty sweet.

Finished up SMT: Devil Summoner and Spiderman: Web of Shadows (finally). Now I'll most likely move on to both versions of Splinter Cell Double Agent while simultaneously hunting for a job.

Little Kings Story, Metal Gear Solid and New Zealand Story DS. Hopefully you'll hire another European replacement, preferably English, definitely not German.

I'm in the final era of Okami, so I hopefully will play a few hours of that, and then mourn my loss at having experienced all of Okami that will ever exist.

Well, I finally ran out of Bethesda games to play, having just beaten Morrowind (again) and Fallout 3's Broken Steel content, so I've moved on to a game I've had since Christmas: Dead Space. I'm a sucker for horror games, even though they scare the bejeezus out of me.

Finished Metal Gear Solid 2, onto MGS3 - although I am finding it very difficult right off the bat. I must be playing it wrong.

Also putting time into Sacred 2 on the 360. Realizing, every time I play, how deep that game is and how much I still don't know...

I just spent the last 6 months playing through the series, trust me, you'll be well rewarded. My biggest gripe with the third one was learning how to do CQC, it's vastly improved in the fourth.

That is good to hear. I've been trying to simultaneously work through a newer and older title - just to get brushed up on some of the classics I never got around to.
