Haha, that was actually pretty good. I guess the singing talent could be questioned but no doubt they wanted to keep the impression that they're just regular Joes. A rather interesting trailer but by all means not a bad one. Made me feel rather jolly.

Did Halo 3's need to show gameplay? There was a steady stream of gameplay footage, trailers and vidocs, not to mention the beta going on.
Wet on the other hand still has a lot to prove. Although personally, I think some people are being overly harsh, what we have seen looks pretty cool and I'm a lot more interested in this, than I am in Bayonetta.

Perhaps not, but you're missing the point. To say *definitively* that games whose ads show no gameplay are BAD is patently incorrect, and Halo 3 was an example.
Sure, this game may very well suck, but having no gameplay in the ads is NOT a determining factor, and hasn't been in years.
