GAME Watch (translation) has revealed that Koei plans to bring a new version of Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce (subtitled Multi Raid in Japan) to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Previously released on the PSP, Strikeforce introduced some new features to the series, including RPG elements and the ability for characters to transform into super-powered alter-egos. The console versions will feature upgraded graphics as well as online play for up to four players with both text chat and voice chat.
The game is expected to hit Japan on October 1, and we imagine it will travel west before too long.

I hated how you had NO allies in the PSP version. Online play MIGHT make up for that, ill have to see

Well something had to be done. Is this is the answer? I don't know but it might work.

Awesome, seriously needed multiplayer over consoles. The transformation jobbers should look good in HD.
I hope Koei continues to ignore Dynasty Warriors critics.

I loved this game cause of how much of a refreshing change it brought to the series, the customization was pretty neat. One thing though is how unforgiving the game could get at times where there's several officers attacking you at once.
