An "industry executive familiar with Netflix's plans" tells Multichannel that the company's streaming service will soon be available for the Wii and iPhone/iPod Touch. Before iPhone folks get too excited, though, the speculation is that the streaming service will only be available across Wi-Fi and not AT&T's 3G system -- which already has enough stability "issues."
Netflix streaming on the Wii has been alluded to for quite some time, with the company previously telling us that it's "always looking for ways to expand its service, but for now [its] game platform is the Xbox 360." As for the PS3 ... um, you can always pick up a Bravia.
Update: Netflix has responded to our inquiry with an old gem: "We don't comment on rumors or speculation."

@joeybeast - Why in the world would I want to use Netflix on an iPhone when there's the iTunes store already?

Because i have the video-out cable that connects my iPhone with to a TV. Now i have a portable, pocket-sized internet streaming video machine. Now i just need Hulu. :)
(It means i can take my iPhone over to a friend's house and stream a movie from Netflix if i want.)

Seems like this is coinciding nicely with the iTablet rumors. Watching movies on that screen would be perfect on using Virgin or Airtrans wifi.

Netflix is cool to rent unlimited movies from, but I found the streaming part of it it get boring fast. I got a PS3 and a Roku (the $100 Roku which I've had for like a year as my gf wanted it). The setup seems great as I have access to their streaming and unlimited Blu-ray rentals. If it was just me I would have canceled it though.

Wait, does the streaming selection on the 360 differ than the "Instant Queue" selection available to me thru my comp?

If you have a 360, you don't need it for your Wii. Then again, if you have a PC, why do it on the Wii?

Why should you care? If people want to watch it on their Wii's then they can do so. Some people also like browsing on the web with the Wii via Internet Channel. I sure do.

Do you rent a lot of movies? If you rent a lot of movies, Netflix tries to screw you out of streaming.

I would say, but you might need os3.0 which those dicks at apple make you pay 10$ for, on the iPod. Leaving a lot of your apps worthless. Streaming music on the iPhone saps the battery in 2 hours, any takers on how long it'll last with netflix? 30 minutes?

PlayOn media server lets you watch Netflix on PS3 perfectly, I do it everyday. There is a trial on their site, but is worth the 30 dollar software fee. I'd try it out until sony and netflix release something official. www.mediamall.com

Streaming on Wii might be enough to make me switch from BB Online to Netflix, especially if I don't have a BB store nearby when I move soon. BB Online has been good to me, though, despite that people like to talk shit about them. I've never had any hassle from employees, and I have a grandfather plan that's around $13 for unlimited in-store exchanges, unlimited movies in the mail, and one game per month in the store. It's a damn good deal but Netflix streaming...hmm. Tough one.
I'm waiting for Hulu to make a move on this soon too, though I'm guessing that's when they'd roll out the subscription plan.
Couldn't care less about the AT&T iPhone though, that thing is completely unfriendly to the consumer and stifles technology. No reason why it shouldn't be able to stream through Wi-Fi. I bet they'll end up charging about the same as a rental for each movie you stream.

Well I almost always leave my PC on 100% of the time, and watching on the TV is usually the better situation (which means im not using the computer, so transcoding isnt an issue). The quality is great, and while it might not be true HD, is nothing to raise your nose at. It's a good, cheap, alternative for PS3 owners.

If this is possible, it will most likely be announced in late September for Nintendo's Fall Summit press conference.
