I totally agree, this will most likely make me buy a DS, something I haven't really had any desire for until now. I'm about as excited about this game as I am for Splinter Cell Conviction and Assassins Creed 2, which, for me, there is no higher praise. My excitement is heightened more buy the prospect of top hat wearing horses.

It's really a shame that the "Brit Gentleman" solution didn't work.
I promise to try that in every single puzzle.

It sounds like you haven't purchased a DS game in a long time.

You're really missing out, Aussa.
It has the strongest and most varied game library of any system, portable or not.

I certainly agree with that. The DS has tons of great games, too many genres and original games... it will be remembered as a system with one of the best libraries ever.

The good to bad ratio games is as good as the PS2.

It has some great games, but I have a hard time justifying cramming that beastly huge DS lite into my pocket when I can just play mediocre games/read ebooks/read joystiq on my smartphone instead

Aussa, you joined joystiq just to troll on the DS and have a swastika avatar? Your life must be boring.

Termites ftw. Same with anyone who suggested burning the wooden supports. I'd be tempted to use the black hole wherever possible though.

@epicmuffin: It's hard to do that since so many people said the same/similar things. I suggested half of these myself.

Well, what would have been a cool prize, short of actually giving the game to people, is to send winners a video clip with their idea being attempted.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also remote play

I haven't been able to use either for more than a couple of hours, which is how long my PSP took to break from just being in my bag next to a smartphone

apparently the pressure of sitting in a bag between me and the back of a chair was too much for it, so now I have a $180 paperweight

I recently found an unopened first-gen psp2000 for $75 and there's enough of a back catalogue I hadn't played that I'm actually finding it quite enjoyable.

Of course, a 16gb memory stick set me back $80 but whatever...

skaz has a great list of games, but he uses CFW for the wrong reason. some of the homebrew games on PSP are fantastic. there's even geometry wars and boxhead!

PSP has a great library... but its pretty much all niche games compared to the DS. You don't see games like Scribblenauts pop up on PSP.

This is why DS sells way better. Its not just for us brooding, basement dwelling, young adults.

Anyway, you guys didn't show this one in the original video... but i guess you ended up doing it anyway..

MRLN: Tie a "steak" to a "baby", place it on the bottles, type "lion."

That guy is a bloody idiot for suggesting that.

Sadly he got that from a comment I made a while ago on one of the scribblenauts posts. Blame me for any baby-related violence.

Just the "baby" part was dumb, clearly it didn't work as planned.
You can probably tie a stake to like a little puppy or something like that and it'll probably work better that using a baby.

But my idea is retarded as well, nobody wants to see a little puppy get killed by a Lion. amirite?

@Killiam: That's why you tie it to a baby. A LOT more disposable than a cute little puppy.

It came from the ESRB rating, which claimed that you could tie a baby to a steak and set a lion on it.

It kind of amazes me that some people still seem to have trouble grasping the idea that Scribblenauts does not do adjectives. "Red Flag", "Curly mustache", "Wooden Ball"... You're always going to end up with a generic flag, mustache and ball...
