Man I was looking forward to this! I really miss the Wii version after trading in my Wii for a 360 and Virtua Tennis 2009 has been a big let down.

Has anything really changed in these games since Tennis on NES?

With the large number of games bumped into early 2010, it was inevitable that games would eventually have to start being bumped into the second have of next year, which appears to be the case here. Or, you can prescribe to the theory that they are waiting for Natal/PS3 motion controllers.

Nah, the real reason for the delays is the impending release of Modern Warfare 2. No one wants to compete with it.

" As of right now, the only way to play Grand Slam Tennis is to get a Wii"

Why would you want to play this any other way?

This is very disappointing. If I wanted to swing my arm around and feel like I was playing tennis, I'd swing a real racket at a real ball playing real tennis like I do all the time. (Maybe some of you Wii fans should try it; it's even more fun than swinging a pretend racket at a TV screen). But when I want to play a video game, I want to play a video game. I don't want Wii's gimmicky motion control, I just want the most realistic tennis game out there, just the way I love EA's Madden, NHL, NCAA, and FIFA franchises for their realism. I was very excited when I first heard about this release, now I won't be able to play it for who knows how much longer and when it does come out it may not even be as appealing if this Natal business is true. Way to squeeze out the true gamers, EA.
