Perhaps this bizarre trailer is meant to emphasize that the game isn't all about serious stuff, like morality ... and explosions. Perhaps this marks the return of the series' trademark "bromance"?

I wish I could watch this trailer, but if I do I'll go over the bandwidth limit. Will someone tell me what happens in it?

"Best game ever? Quite possibly"
Have you played Army of Two?
It was ok, but nothing special and I don't think the sequel's gonna do much better.

I didn't say it wasn't fun, but the only reason it's fun is because of co-op and almost every game is fun in co-op.
p.s. Even though Haze sucks, it's the most fun I've had in a co-op game.

Don't be fooled, like I said above Army of Two is decent, but nothing special.

If by "decent" you mean barely passable, then yes.

You're Hideo Kojima, you could make graphics a billion times better, have a better storyline, and have a bunch of posters of Japanese girls in bikinis.

Am I the only one who is completely unimpressed by this? I was waiting for something funny or even entertaining to happen, but then it just ended. I have to admit the CG was pretty good, but still, so what?

I'm guessing you didn't play the first game. The point is these two hardened mercenaries went into a game studio and were out of their element. Taken in context of the universe of Army Of Two it's a brilliant commercial.

I kind of liked Army of Two. It wasn't perfect (melee was broken) but it was one of the only fantastic co-op experiences this entire gen. I'm pretty pumped for the sequel.

I feel Gears of War 2 provided a more fun coop experience than Army of 2. I do want to see what they do to the sequal because the premise is really good.

Gears Of War 2 is great if you have a 360 ... it's really hard to compare the games regardless. Simply put, Gears is more of a competitive multiplayer experience with a nice campaign added in where as Army Of Two is a game oriented specifically around co-op gameplay. Even the competitive multiplayer in Army Of Two was co-operative which we also saw in gears in the form of "wing man" or something to that effect. I also see Army Of Two as more of an arcade style game you play through 5-6 times and get all the guns bling'd out.
Two totally different games ... Both great in their own right but not all that comparable.
In terms of co-operative gameplay I don't know that it gets any better on any platform than Horde Mode in Gears 2. THAT is co-op on steroids. Awesome.

Thats the definition of amazing compositing, high resolution character models and perfect character animations. That short video was better than most big budget movie scenes in terms of the compositing with real world and CG objects.
I loved the entire thing and a trailer that simple makes me 100x more interested in the game. I played and loved the first one and this looks to up the ante. It also makes me feel a connection with the studio.
The best part about the trailer is when they walk by the girls playing pool, then the one guy is showing her how to shoot and at the last second you see him reaching his hand for her hip. So subtle yet so pronounced.
This little video gets me more excited than the actual gameplay trailer did when I saw it a few months back. It was amazing.

too tired to read through all the comments but if they had time to make this trailer, why are they delaying so many games?

Its really nice to see them step away from the cookie cutter approach every now and then. Highly entertaining.
