Salem and Rios visit EA Montreal in bizarre Army of Two trailer

We're not exactly sure what this new trailer for Army of Two: The 40th Day is supposed to tell us. Salem and Rios, the two masked stars of the series, stop by EA Montreal's office to play their own game and goof off. The ensuing mayhem results in the destruction of a defenseless copy machine -- without it, the game is certainly going to miss a 2009 release!

Perhaps this bizarre trailer is meant to emphasize that the game isn't all about serious stuff, like morality ... and explosions. Perhaps this marks the return of the series' trademark "bromance"?

This is perfectly in touch with the mood of the game, slightly over the top, slightly tongue-in-cheek and bro'd to the max. It's only funny if you've played the game (whether you thought the game was great or not, as a marketing schtick the video works well)

The copier thing killed me. The subtle hip grab in the pool room was so perfect.

This is obviously a parody/tribute to Mega64's trailer for Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

still think sequal should of been called army of tu-tu(two-two). they could of had them in ballet themed missions like taking out an evil director or something(to be honest didn't really think beyond what sequal could be called as you may of guessed.

Is it just me or can that song make pissing at a urinal exciting?

Why is everyone calling this video hilarious and brilliant? If fact, somebody said this about a dude clutching a girl that pool table scene: "So subtle yet so pronounced." You're analyzing that moment?

The video was simply two dudes in body armour meandering around an office, shooting a copier and pissing. Where was the humour?

I thought joystiq catered to an intelligent readership. If this is what we have to look forward to, the game industry is doomed.
