The trailer got me interested, but it probably won't come out in europe.

If it comes out on XBLA, it will probably be an international release. Dunno about PSN/Wii version though :/

I agree with the awesomeness. I cannot wait to get this game. I can't bear to play the original on the Wii with its audio issues.

What? Did you really just judge a game based on how you think the people who will play it look like?

Shame, shame, shame on you freechain. Military Madness was one of the best TG16 games.

I feel like this is the game at conventions that most people don't waste their time checking out.. And for food reason, most likely.

For food reason? Like it's lunch time and they're like, "Fuck it, I need some food."?

I was going to down-vote you Whylekat, but I cannot on the account of your Thundercat "Wilykit" photo. I will tell you this. Military Madness is tons of fun. Online multiplayer would be a blast!

Haha ment to type "Good" not food.

And thanks.. Even tho it's a picture of Wiley-Kat. Wiley-Kit was the sister.

And I have nothing against the game so don't downvote me! =/ just never heard of it so I'm masking wild asumptions.

The original was one of the first games I got on the VC - it's great but rock hard. I'll definitely be picking this up

I played through the first campaign in the VC version and had a blast. This game rocks and I'm glad to see an update. I'll be picking this up on XBLA day one.

Ahhh, the TG16, the one and only system that I have never owned. My buddy had one though, so I did get to play it often.

All you guys saying this will suck are just showing your 17 year old ages. This game took many of my high school nights away.

Agreed, Ian. They won't miss the fun of what they don't know they should be missing.

Still no word on a release date?

Oh well, I assume that since they're doing a press release on it, it'll probably come out next Monday.

Looks like fun!

A.) Nice to see they combined the American and Japanese titles.
B.) Sort of an oddball decision to bring this back when there are...oh...millions of games that could use a new coat of paint.

Well, I am very happy that they are bringing it back. I also agree that there are many other games that need updated. Solomon's key, Rolling Thunder and Adventure come to mind. Oh and my God, The original Star Control on the Genesis was one of my favorites!

I love this game. It's a lot like Advanced Wars for those who have never played (or maybe Advanced Wars is a lot like it). I ended up buying it for my phone and would love to see it updated.

I would personally prefer to see this game on a DS as I don't see much benefit to playing on a big screen.

I was just about to say "Advance Wars, is that you!?". If this game is ANYTHING like Advance Wars, sign me up!

I played this game to death on the Turbo and continued to play it on the computer via Magic Engine through around 2001. I also picked up Advance Wars. While there are similarities between the two, Military Madness is a much simpler game. But that's why I think I like it better. It was much easier to just pick up and play. Probably just my old (video game) age showing.=P

I'm so ready for this to come out. I played the TG16 to death and think the on-line goodness for XBLA should be a good boost. And I do hope they port it to DS too because it seems made for it, despite the DS being pretty crowded with TBS games.

I didn't even know this was being made. I still love the PS1 version and play through it every few years. (Never owned the original, not having owned a TG.)
