yeah when it comes to me debating about getting off the couch or bed or floor to merely change a game i know that i would be getting too lazy... but that's just me...

and making excuses to pay more money to do that wouldn't settle well with me, especially when 1 day you notice you were just renting the game by downloading..

I used to think that way too, but since battlefield 1943, i've been wishing for more games to be that accessible, especially RPG's like Fallout and Oblivion, i'd be more inclined to play them in short spurts if i didn't have to change discs.

I'll only buy really really good games off here, because getting stuck with a bad game and not being able to resell would really piss me off.

The only game i bought on the Xbox Originals was Crimson Skies.

That was worth the 1200 MSPs.

I was one of the lucky ones who got an early look at the new DB update. This morning, Bioshock was one of the games listed in the "Games on Demand" section. Since I already HAVE Bioshock and the disc was actually already in my tray, it gave me the option of "play now" .... which I interpret as meaning that if I've already bought the game, I don't HAVE to pay to play it directly from the Games on Demand. I thought that was pretty cool, at least.

Yeah, I was definitely going to pick up Mass Effect, but paying full retail for a digital game? I dunno. There's no manual, no box, and no possibility of reselling it. I'm going to have to think about it.

Why don't they just make it a little cheaper (like ~10% off) and offer the feature to "return" it within the 1st hour of gameplay? That way if it sucks or it's not what you expected, you didn't just waste your money!

I wouldn't buy these unless they were at least 40-50% off retail and new games. Digital downloads are convenient but I prefer the box/manual/ability to resell.

Fucking digital downloads, I prefer my physical goods.

not too interested in the G.O.D. service - but I'm sure it'll be profitable for them(since it will cost them nearly NOTHING to offer these games - very little employee impact and no shelf space)

but what i would love to see, with bigger xbla games, G.O.D., installs, and with the zune stuff coming soon, is much bigger, much cheaper hard drives on the market.

i see the hard drive issue as one of the main advantages of the ps3, and MS could EASILY take that away if they adjusted their lineup and cut the prices, or go even further and release an empty cradle that we can fill with our own hard drives.

I was excited for Games on Demand. But then I found how much these games cost at retail. I'm Canadian and we are expected to pay DOUBLE the price for G.O.D than the physical copy at brick and mortar stores.

Lego Star Wars: TCS is $39.99 on G.O.D. At the EB Games down the street it retails for $19.99 brand new...

Both Oblivion and BioShock are also $39.99 on G.O.D. The Future Shop my fiancee works at has the double pack for $44.99 new...
