We've been known to dabble in a FIFA game from time to time, though cover athletes aren't really our forte, if you will. Rather than address our ignorance dead-on, we'll simply tell you that Frank Lampard of Chelsea, Theo Walcott of Arsenal and Wayne Rooney of Manchester United are donning the cover of this year's footballer.
Believe it or not, the game will feature more than just players from English teams. (Yes, we're just as shocked as you by that possibility.) The game is set to land in the UK on October 2, and Amazon and GameStop are putting the game's US release on October 20th.

I think that's just as dumb as both of you do. Unfortunately, that's more of a problem to do with the US monopoly on televised sports than, well, my fault. Soccer is much more of an international sport (perception-wise at the least) than baseball or *american* football, and thus the comment.

Who the fuck calls a football game a 'footballer'?

Suppose I'll have to get used to this - being at university and living with guys means at least one will spend the money for this and then it'll be the game of choice, meaning I'll have to get used to losing every game in another football game.

Is this meant to be irony at people who know nothing about football or do they genuinely believe football is only in england. The best league is now arguably in spain, huge teams in italy, portugal, netherlands, france.
Won't come as a shock to me that there will be other players from non english teams either considering that arguably the best 4 players in the world now play in la ligue.
Ignorance pisses me off!

Yes, this makes sense, because FIFA never supported worldwide teams...
It's had international teams since the SECOND game, back in 1995, although players had ficticious names.
It's even in the full title of the game for christ's sake- 'Fédération Internationale de Football Association' anyone?
RESEARCH please, jesus christ!
