The Next to Fall from Fall 09: Our Predictions

As we breathlessly await to see which of our hopes and dreams will be crushed by the next game being pushed from this fall into Q1 of 2010, we've decided to pass the time with an office pool of sorts, each of us picking one game that we think will be the next to get bumped.

Now, you may not want to read too much into these, as we've used methods ranging from sophisticated industry telemetry to completely pulling it out of our asses to make our picks. If there's one you think we missed, let us know in the comments, and if we get enough good ones we might collect those in a separate post.

Also, true story: During the creation of this feature yesterday, at least two guys had to make new pics after StarCraft II got bumped. Fact.

Modern Warfare 2 is delayed to first quarter 2010.

Suddenly the production of the previously delayed games has increased and they will be ready in 2009.

I believe the standard edition has Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on it.

I propose we move Christmas to March.

I think you can say HL2 ep3 if your talking about the next one to fall to 2011....
Other than that I am so with you on Black Mesa Source with the lack of news on this I think that this is most likely going to be pushed off till 2010 but with any luck it'll get picked up by Valve and released in the Orange Box 2 with portal 2 L4D 3 and HL3 some time in 2022

Ah what are you guys doing jinxing everything. If this happens, then there's no Christmas this year!

EyePet will be delayed indefinitely because it can't get past the ESRB with a rating of anything less than M due to the fact that you can create a blender and stick your pet inside it.

Justin McElroy, if you cause Borderlands to get delayed... I'm going to make you pay.... with cookies.

Is MAG still 09? If so I predict it getting a delay.

My prediction is that almost all the PSP back catalogue won't be put onto the PSP online store for download onto the PSP Go until at least 2010. And likely they'll only have the big sellers and a few first party titles for Christmas.
