I hope Brutal Legend dominates the Holiday season and Tim Schafer wipes his ass with the $10 million Double Fine got from Activision. It's nice for once to see the law come down on the side of the angels.

"...like GWAR."

And not only GWAR. I read yesterday that EA and Brutal Legend will be sponsoring a full 34 city tour including Mastodon and Metalocalypse’s Dethklok.

One thing's for sure. If Brutal Legend doesn't sell, it wont be for lack of promotion.

What disappoints me is that now that Activision doesn't have the money they were expecting from the 0.0000...1% chance the judge would rule in their favour, they're going to jack the prices of everything up to compensate. Because god forbid Chief Executive Superdouche Kottick doesn't get his third Enzo this year.

(Translation: I'm predicting MW3 next fiscal year, and the standard edition for it is $70. And 40 "Hero" SKUs.)

I have no idea why this game is getting the attention that it is. It looks mediocre at best.

"it appears very likely that Activision received little to no compensation from Double Fine and agreed to a settlement to avoid losing its case in open court."

sounded like music to my ears, good metal music
