seriously michael cain? if you're gonna get kevin conroy, and mark hamil...you HAVE to get efrem zimbalist, jr. as alfred. i'm kinda dissapointed that they didn't get bob hastings (antother batman the animated series veteran) as the commish.

Just played the PC demo. Maxes out on a GTX260, looks great, runs smooth - game is very fun too. You really do feel like Batman playing it.

I really enjoyed the demo, they have a nice, dark direction going with this one and it's working very well.
I loved stealthing up on the gargoyles and the cutscenes were awesome, accompanied by great voice acting. Nice package IMO!

Agreed. It almost felt like a movie of sorts. I was worried about the controls before but they were simple and easy to understand. I didn't find myself looking at the control scheme every 5 minutes like I have done in games before.

The ps3 demo was fantastic and it's definitely a must buy for me now. Played it like 5 times and it's still fun as hell to fight and try new ways to stealth take down baddies.

i would have been happier if he'd just actually died like Capn America, but no they gotta do this bullshit. Not only that but he died killing Darkseid, saying he'd make "a once in a lifetime exception" which makes it completely bullshit that he's unwilling to kill the Joker despite all the people he's killed. Fuck Grant Morrison fuck him hard

ugh, i know. God Damn ridiculous, having Steve stay dead really cemented that he died for a cause at the end of civil war, and that Cap would always stand for what he believed, and having bucky be the new cap was a very fitting end, as does Dick Grayson becoming Batman

You think THAT's crazy? I just read an old comic of mine where Squirrel Girl (yes Squirrel Girl) defeated Doctor Doom with an amry of Squirrels. Yes I know, ultra powerful Doctor Doom taken down by rodents. Mind = blown.

Jason Todd? You make me sick.

How about this one: Bruce Wayne.

The cool thing about comic book characters is that they don't have to die or get old or pass on the scepter to any successive generations.

I'm with the Dark Wayne on this one, certain heroes should remain dead (not just the B-listers and lower) in order to cement a real feeling of tension in the comics...If I don't feel some mortal connection with a *human* character like Bruce Wayne, then why should I care if they kill him off if I already know he'll be back?

actually i found batman's "death" to be awesome. one, cause he killed a friggin god at the same time. and DC didn't try to play us as idiots pretending that he really was dead. captain america's "death" was dumb. and dick grayson as batman is awesome, even if it's just for a year.

I had some free time this week, and downloaded Knightfall/Knightquest, because it seemed to be an acclaimed storyline.

Good Lord, what a load of garbage that was. I have no idea how long they drag out this cyborg/Azureus/Batman garbage, but I can't take anymore. Someone just tell me how Bruce Wayne goes back to being Batman.

I get so enamored of a great story like The Killing Joke or The Dark Knight Returns, that I forget how 98% of the rest of comic books are crap.

@ the dark wayne

This is why comic fans drive me crazy. Do you honestly think that killing the god of evil is incompatible with his "no guns" policy?

@ nopa

Basically Bruce heals his back through ninja trail and then goes to fight Azrael. He then traps Azrael in a small part of the cave requiring Azrael to take off the suit to fit. Bruce talks to him and Azrael gives up...seriously.

Actually Batman didn't kill Darksied. He shot him with a Radion bullet which poisoned him, the Flashes led the Black Racer to collect his destroy his physical form, Wonder Woman bound his soul and free the Earth from anti-life and Superman sang his soul to death.

obviously it is incompatible with the no guns policy because he said "make an exception". That wasn't what i was saying either, he doesnt need guns to kill the joker, but if he would kill Darkseid to stop him from killing billions of people, from a logical standpoint the Joker should be no different, regardless of numbers

The Joystiq player is easily the worst I've ever used considering it doesn't save my age, your site hasn't updated my avatar I uploaded multiple times months ago, and your site never remembers my email/password.

Fix your own horrible site before criticizing others. There site sucks yet it's still 10x better than yours. Your gaming news is great, your site is a pile of trash and the commenting system is a joke.

"your site hasn't updated my avatar I uploaded multiple times months ago"

I'll give you that, but who really cares, the bigger concern is the broken comment system

"and your site never remembers my email/password"

Use firefox, Save Password, problem solved
