Coo over Sander Cohen's BioShock statuette
GamePro has a photo set of the statuette based on BioShock's homicidal artist, Sander Cohen, given to 2K Boston employees by the studio's Creative Director Ken Levine. The sculpture was created by "Irrational" artist Robb Waters, produced by Patch Together and infused with mental instability by Fontaine Futuristics.
2K Boston is currently working on a secret project while 2K Marin (and a half-dozen other studios) try to get BioShock 2 out the airlock.

I liked Sander Cohen's character, his portion of the first game was one of the creepiest. I'd much rather have a statue of a Big Sister or Daddy though.
343 Guilty Fart @ Aug 7th 2009 8:04PM
Seeing this statue made me realize that if this Bioshock is a prequel, then we'll probably be seeing Cohen at some point, which can only be a good thing (unless they screw it up, which they inevitably will).
Sly Cooper @ Aug 7th 2009 8:06PM
it's not a prequel. if i remember right, it's set 10 years after the 1st. so no cohen (discounting flashbacks).
Lunastra78 (PSN: lunastra78) @ Aug 7th 2009 8:39PM
Aren't you supposed to play the prototype Big Daddy in Bioshock 2? Which would make it a prequel to the first right?
Lunastra78 (PSN: lunastra78) @ Aug 7th 2009 8:44PM
And if there is any chance 2K is reading this: Please make an ending that doesn't suck as much as the first. It was like watching an amazing Stanley Kubrick movie where Michael Bay had taken over the last 10 minutes in order to ruin the experience completely. :(
Savage @ Aug 7th 2009 8:56PM
You play as the first Big Daddy who has somehow survived in Rapture all these years. I'm sure the actual story will explain more.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but Cohen doesn't die does he? I remember completing the Masterpiece, and having him look at it, but I don't remember his death.
Lunastra78 (PSN: lunastra78) @ Aug 7th 2009 9:19PM
You can kill him later in the appartments section, or at least I did. And then I took his picture. ;)
sting @ Aug 7th 2009 10:43PM
Yeah Bioshock 2 has been confirmed as a prequel. I can't wait to play as the FIRST big daddy!
BTW the Cohen statue is so sick, yet so creepy...I love it!

the main game is a sequel but the multiplayer is during the fall of rapture, at least that's what the last game informer said
Sly Cooper @ Aug 8th 2009 1:35AM
i'll make it simple for people who still don't understand (lunastra & sting).
bioshock 2 = SEQUEL but you play as the first big daddy who is STILL LIVING.
prototypes aren't destroyed after the final versions are out. that's why you can still buy prototype versions of old cars for a good bit of cash.

Id totally buy figures
Roger @ Aug 7th 2009 8:27PM
great music in fort frolic. Between his masterpiece and that battle to...whatever that song is [anyone give me a name?], it made that part of the game really sing.
This however is creepy as hell!
Zerato @ Aug 8th 2009 12:51AM
The waltz of flowers - Tchaikovsky
Awesome part of the game!
LordOsiris @ Aug 7th 2009 9:00PM
Goddamn This looks cool.
Beatz @ Aug 7th 2009 9:16PM
Yep, that's exactly what I want staring back at me while I'm trying to sleep.
Fullmetal Salchemist @ Aug 8th 2009 8:06AM
He definitely looks more Joker than Dali.
Shadowbender (The Sweatshop Will Live On) @ Aug 8th 2009 11:55AM
Gosh I'm so psyched for Bioshock 2. Cohen was a wonderful and menacing character. Oh, and guys, it's a SEQUEL. Stop acting like you know everything because it's false.
MinimumWageNinja @ Aug 8th 2009 12:34PM
I want this! That mission with Cohen in the original was so groundbreaking.
