I don't have a Wii but if I did I'd try this. It's just a light rail shooter, I think it would control OK.

Still say this game would be better if they included your arm and weapon in the scene..wouldn't be too hard for them to do this and still keep it an onrails shooter. I hate just seeing that damn aiming reticule and no weapon.

This game looks pretty good. I don't even mind it being an on-rails shooter. Less to worry about and I can better focus on cutting my enemies into itty bitty pieces.

There's a chain-of-command for Wii haters here, my friend. You can't just rush in. You have to defer to the ones who have been doing it a lot longer than you.

Love Dead Space. I hope they continue this franchise/universe on other consoles that don't employ shoddy motion controls. =P

yeah that was already confirmed and the wii is the only console NOW with motion controllers so whatever...

and id rather play dead space 2 with a 360/ps3 controller over natal or ps3 motion...

Mr Kahn has a point. Scroll down to my post to see how to properally hate on the wii. The trick is to not mention the system itself. For it is evil, and makes everyone who uses it look terribly foolish.

I enjoyed Dead Space, but it was more *in spite of* the story rather than because of it... guess we'll see how this plays out.

If you get the House of the Dead: Overkill bundle, it comes with a really great couple of gun-shells, plus the game is awesome. Otherwise, I'd be surprised if there isn't some kind of bundle with this one with new shells.

I generally don't like rail shooters, but that's because they're arcade games and don't have a good story (I know, why don't I just read even more books?)
This looks really interesting, though.

having grown up on on rails and such i disagree with you. Have you not played any of the house of the deads?...those games were complex in the story lines...on rail games are fun..and the wii deserves this game..how can ANY gamer who thinks they are a gamer hate a game and a console?..thats just total hypocrisy

as a true gamer who owns all consoles and alot of different types of games...i say shame on you people who call yourselves gamers!

dead space was great IMO...

but things change all the time... most of it has to do in which the way these products are mass marketed to us.... the general public is bound to more often buy the most advertised items so depending

whether it be the lost boys in the 80's, interview with the vampire in the 90's, balde in the '00 years, and now were left with sparkling glitter vampires in twilight moving forwing into the '10 years... it doesnt mean I like the change, but it definitely happens.

but I would blame the marketing dept and large gaming corporations which control a big chunk of the entire gaming market and are sometimes able to play with our buying decisions based upon whether we like a product/brand/franchise/etc or not.

we all continue to grow up and it happens so damn fast..... but ''darn kidz these days''

random splat. peace.
